Suddenly and peacefully on February 7, 2005, surrounded by his
family. Larry was born in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1957 his life's
journey brought him to Canada, which he made his home for the
next 48 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Alma (née
BIEHLER.)
Brother to George (Beryl). Cherished and devoted father of Lawrence
(Kathy) and Sandra (Rick). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren
Lawrence, David, Kipling, Timothy, and Graham. A 1950 graduate
of Glasgow University in Mechanical Engineering, he served in
the British Army as Corporal in the 3rd Training Regiment Royal
Engineers. He enjoyed a dynamic business career in Canada starting
with Polymer Corporation then
ERCO in Buckingham, BP Canada,
Canatom, SNC and Kilborn-Kellogg. He was a pioneer and leader
for Canada's Candu reactor in the emerging nuclear power industry.
He had a passion for tracking family history, volunteering for
his University alumni, running, curling, Gilbert and Sullivan
and movie dates with Alma. The family will receive Friends at
the Ogden Funeral Home (4164 Sheppard Avenue East), on Thursday,
February 10 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. with a funeral service to
follow in the chapel at 12 o'clock. A burial service in the spring
will follow in Buckingham, Québec. In lieu of flowers, an engineering
fund at Glasgow University will be set-up by the family or a
donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

of 83. Beloved husband of Erminia for 50 years. Loving father
of Frank (Tina), Mary (Jim), Anna, Lina (Raymond) and Tony. Cherished
grandfather of Rose, Michael, Alia, Matthew, Christopher and

on Friday, November 11, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint John's Roman Catholic
Church (794 Kingston Road) on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at
10: 30 a.m. Entombment Highland Memory Gardens. If desired, memorial
contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated
by the family.
