Passed away peacefully on August 19, 2005 at Kipling Acres Etobicoke in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late George EMO. Loving Mom of John and his wife Wendy. Proud Grandmother of Russ EMO and his wife Lena and Heather FITZGERALD and her husband Kevin. Devoted Great-Grandmother of Sean, Tyler, Joshua, Rachel EMO, and Erin, Kaitlyn, and Brittney FITZGERALD. A special thanks to the staff at Kipling Acres - 2 South, for their care and patience. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, 416-241-4618, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Ward Chapel on Monday, August 22, 2005 at 10: 30 a.m. Cremation. A reception to follow. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of choice.

On Tuesday, March 8th, 2005 at Kingston General Hospital (from Saint Mary's of the Lake Hospital), at the age of 87. Orm was the beloved husband and best friend of June Lorrain (KENNEDY.) Dear father of Paul (Stephanie) of Duncan, British Columbia, Thomas of Sarnia, Ontario, Richard of Fergus, Ontario, Mark (Karen) of Pickering, Ontario, Mary (Danny) EMOFF of Bradford, Ontario, Jane (Stephen) MATHEWS of Kitchener, Ontario. Dear step-father of Gail (Gary) BARWICK of County Kerry, Ireland. Also survived by many grandchildren. Orm was the beloved son of the late Minnie MARGERY and Arthur Bawtree REYNOLDS. Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice in memory of Orm.

EMOND, Douglas L.
Passed away on July 18th in his 97th year. Doug was predeceased by his wonderful wife Dorothy. Doug will be greatly missed by his three children, Paul (Jean), Peter and Susan (Cliff), by his grandchildren, Marc, Karin, David and Clinton, and by his many Friends. Doug lived a full and rich life. He left school at 15 to help the family make ends meet, and subsequently returned to school in his twenties to earn a B.A. at the University of Rochester. Shortly after leaving the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1945, Doug joined the Etobicoke Board of Education as Business Administrator, where he participated in the growth and expansion of the Board. After his career at the Board and his active involvement in public service, including the presidency of the Canadian Institute of Public Administration, Doug moved to the Mulmur Hills where he and Dorothy soon became an important part of the Creemore community. Doug died at the Creedan Valley nursing home in Creemore. The family thanks the staff of the Blue Mountain Manor in Stayner and Creedan Valley for their care and support of Doug. A gathering of family and Friends will be planned for a later date to celebrate and remember Doug's life. If you wish, you may make a donation in Doug's memory to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital.

EMOND, Gary Ernest
At New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York on February 2nd, 2005 following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 53. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Sandra and will be sorely missed by his children Taryn (Johnathan) BECKETT and Alexander EMOND as well as his granddaughter Emma BECKETT. Gary was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Bernadette EMOND. He is survived by his sister Linda (Doug) GRIEVE, and his brothers Rick (Irene), Bob (Bonnie), and Glenn (Margaret) and his many nieces and nephews. Gary will be missed by his extended family along with many Friends and his co-workers at BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. in Toronto and New York City. Family and Friends will be received at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2005. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 7, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Saint Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 717 Kennedy Rd., Scarborough. Interment in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

At Providence Centre on March 31, 2005, in her 80th year. Marge, beloved wife of Raymond McGRATH. Loving mother of Yvonne McGRAA, Ronald (Lora), Laura EMOND (Larry SCHWEYER), George (Debbie) and step-mother to Theresa LAZAROS (Jim), Maurice, Michael (Ada), Carole, Daniel (Dawn), Patrick and Robert McGRATH. Sister to the late Ronald G. SMITH. She will be sadly missed by all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.) on Sunday after 12 noon followed by a complete service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation. Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Angus MacRAE of Maxville and the late Donald and Alex MacRAE. Predeceased by her parents John and Jennie MacRAE. After a lengthy illness, at the age of 82, Bob passed away at the Winchester and District Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, December 1, 2005. Loving husband of Bernadette (Bunny) EMOND, formerly of Ottawa and Toronto. Proud father of Bill (Darlene) of Moose Creek, Don (Gail) of New Jersey, Al (Gwen) of Monkland, and daughter Terry of Westmount, P.Q. Loving grandfather of Liann, Bradley, Bobbie, Paul, Alyssa and Andrew. EMORY, Warren Alexander
Born July 13, 1925, died of cancer in Sunnybrook K Wing on Saturday, November 12, 2005. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON of King Township and brother of Beryl TUCKER of Waubaushene. During World War 2 Warren served his country in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve - North Atlantic Theatre. He was Life Member and Past President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 316 in Waubaushene as well as Veterans' Service Officer and Poppy Chair for Zone E4 of the Legion. A graveside ceremony will be held in Waubaushene Veterans' Cemetery on Monday, November 21st at 2: 30 p.m. for interment of Warren's ashes. A Memorial Service is to be held in Aurora Legion Branch 385, 105 Industrial Parkway North, on Wednesday, December 7th at 2 p.m. for Warren. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Waubaushene Legion Poppy Fund in memory of Warren would be appreciated.
