Anthony (Tony) of R.R.#7 Saint Thomas, on Thursday, January 27, 2005, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, peacefully, in his 66th year. Dearly loved husband of Sandra and loved father of Stephen of London and James and his wife Julia of Alexandria, Virginia. Dear brother of Rita and her husband Rick BERGEN of Kitchener and Doreen and her husband Bryan SHAW of Saint Marys. Loved grandfather of Gus, Simona and Raffaella and dear uncle of Rick, Michael and Shelley BERGEN, Melanie Fabian, Scott and Andrea SHAW.
Tony was born in Timmins, Ontario on July 30, 1939. The son of the late Pasquale and Helen (ELENA) CERENZIA. He has lived in the Saint Thomas area the past four years and formerly of London. He was a Mental Health Advocate and a Past President of the Schizophrenia Society of Canada. Tony lived and died with love and with courage. It was his final wish that his Friends and colleagues remind others through words and actions that someone with a severe and persistent mental illness such as schizophrenia is a person with a family, just like theirs; is a person who deserves the respect, dignity and quality of treatment given those with illnesses such as cancer. A public Memorial Service to celebrate Tony's life will be held at the Chapel of the Regional Mental Health Care Centre, 850 Highbury Avenue, London on Thursday, February 3rd at 3: 00 p.m. Donations can be made payable to the Recreation Division, Regional Mental Health Care, London, through Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas, who are in care of arrangements.

Passed away at Toronto General Hospital on January 15, 2005 at the age of 82. Mr. PATUNE was the much loved husband of 45 years of Ruth and proud father of Michelle (married to David ELENBASS.) Mr. PATUNE was born in 1922 in Viljandy, Estonia and emigrated to Canada in 1948. Following the completion of his Engineering degree at the University of Toronto, Mr. PATUNE had a long career with Ontario Hydro. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18. Born in Mersea Township, daughter of the late John K. and F. Audrey (THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON) BRADFORD. Beloved wife of the late Gerald P. FIELD (1971.) Loving mother of Geraldine and her husband William CLARK of Chatham, Mary MICK of London, Liz and her husband David ELEYONICH of Ancaster and Ruth and her husband Rev. Tim JOYCE of Blenheim. Dear grandmother of Cheri and Ernie JENKINS, Peter and Jennifer MICK, Adam MICK and his fiance Monica MURRAY, Paul MICK, Sarah LABADIE- JOYCE and Ashley JOYCE. Great-grandmother of Ernie Jr. and Derek Jenkins and Jeremiah and Joshua MICK.
