2005, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 79th year.

of Andrew, Charles, Julie, Erin, Drew (predeceased), Hilary,
Amanda, Devon, Ryan, Trevor, Blair and Katie. Also survived by
a number of nieces and nephews. Clare was born in Bathurst, New
Brunswick on March 30, 1926, the
son of the late William and
Mabel (GOSNELL)
PROSSER. He came to Saint Thomas in 1969. He was
the Director of Education for Elgin County from 1971-1981. Clare
was a graduate of the University of Toronto. Past chairman of
the Ontario head Masters, 1966, served during World War 2, member
of Saint Thomas Masonic Lodge #44 A.F. and A.M. and was an avid
Duplicate Bridge player. The family will receive Friends at Williams
Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas on Monday from 7-9
p.m. A public Memorial service will be held at the funeral home
on Tuesday at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances
may be made to the Caring Cupboard, the Salvation Army or Grace
United Church.
