PICKARD, Cassie Leona (née HARRIS)
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 27, 2005 in her 90th year. Daughter of the late William and Mary HARRIS. Predeceased by her husband J. Aubrey PICKARD and Norman WAITE. Also predeceased by sisters and brothers Bella, Wellie, Ted, Les, Jim and Iveagh. Loved mother of Carolle KENNEDY of Whitby, Bill (Vivien) of Binbrook, and Lynda (Glenn) OSBORNE of Bronte. Fondly remembered by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Will be remembered by nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Dr. EDDENDEN. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds St. (oneblock north of Lakeshore), Oakville, 905-844-3221 on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Walton Memorial United Church, 2489 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville followed by the service at 2 p.m. Private family interment on Monday. Joy Walt Alberta (MILLS) EDDIE, the bravest person we know, peacefully passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Saturday, April 2, 2005 in her 83rd year. She was truly a gift. Predeceased by the love of her life for 52 years, her husband, William (Bill) EDDIE (1995.) Loving mom of Arden and Shelley EDDIE of Seaforth, and Duane EDDIE and Gerry DEWAR of Amherstburg. Proud and loving grandma of Ashley EDDIE of Seaforth, and Jennifer and her husband Jay MILLMAN of London. Dear sister of Hazel and Elbert LITTLE of London. Survived by her sisters-in-law Mary MILLS, Jean Mills and Mary MILLS. Also lovingly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Lulu and Clarence ARMSTRONG, Winnie and Bill CAMPBELL, Iva MILLS, her brothers Dick MILLS, Leslie and Muriel MILLS, Glen and Margaret MILLS, Ray MILLS, and Lyle MILLS, and her parents Walter MILLS (1922) and Minnie Edith MILLS (FOSTER) (1961.) At London Health Sciences Centre, South Street Campus, on Friday, April 15, 2005, Hazel Alverna (née MILLS) LITTLE of London and formerly of the Chicago area in her 87th year. Survived by her loving and devoted husband Elbert R. LITTLE. Loved and fondly remembered by their family, Ronald and Barbara LITTLE and their children; Scott, Suanne and Tian, of Samanish, Washington, Anthony (Tony) LITTLE and children; T.J., Angela and Andrea of Charlotte, North Carolina David and Diana LITTLE and their children; Nicole, Jimmy, Lindy, David and Joy, of Grere, South Carolina, and Steve and Joanne LITTLE and their children; Becky and Robbie of Schamburg, Illinois, and Debbie LITTLE of Houston, Texas, and 11 great grandchildren. Hazel is predeceased by her 3 sisters, Lula ARMSTRONG, Winnifred CAMPBELL and Joy EDDIE and her 4 brothers, Richard, Leslie, Lyle and Glen MILLS. She is fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families. When living in the Chicago area, Hazel worked many years for General Motors, volunteered at the local hospital and was a board member for the Nursing Association and was active in the Episcopal Church. Relatives and Friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Monday, April 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at Saint Anne's Anglican Church, Byron on Tuesday, April 19 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Anne's Memorial Fund or Saint Anne's Future Development Fund.

Entered into rest at the Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, November 16th, 2005. Dorothy BOYD of Bridge Street W., Belleville in her 86th year. Daughter of the late William and Elsie SCOTT. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth BOYD and Jack RAMEY. Dear mother of Susan ALLEN of Plainfield and Dawn RAMEY of London. Dearly loved by grandchildren Jennifer EDDIE, Lynn ALLEN and predeceased by granddaughter Kerri ALLEN, sister Audrey SNITH and remembered by her brother in law Don SMITH, nieces and nephews and special niece Cheryl HILL. Much loved father of Katherine and her husband David PARKES of Burlington, Joan EDDIE of Ancaster and Robert Jr. and his wife Janet of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Christopher (Judith) and Josh. Bob was the former owner of Commercial Transport. After retiring, Bob worked for a number of years at McMaster University in the Science Labs.
