Peacefully on Sunday, November 13th, 2005, after a brief illness
and surrounded by his loving family, John Douglas "Doug"
LEMMON
of London in his 64th year. Husband, best friend and soul mate
of Carol (née
DICKINSON.)
Devoted▼ and loving father of Sue, Judy
BERKIN and her husband Steve, and Kim all of London. Adored grandfather
(Bampa) of Emma and Laura. Brother of Arlene
SKRYNSKI of Burlington,
Debbie CASTLE and her husband Gord of Aurora, and brother-in-law
of Jean and Michael
MEARS of London, Connie
MASSICOTTE of Whitby
and Anne EBSWORTH of England. Doug touched the lives of his nephews,
nieces and relatives here and in England. He proudly became a
surrogate grandpa to Amber and Lindsay. Doug enjoyed 30 years
as a proud employee of 3M Canada and became known as "Mr. Post-It".
Since retiring from 3M he served as a board member of The Kidney
Foundation as well as being involved with the 3M retirees. The
world has lost a shining star with Doug leaving us much too soon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00
p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North,
London, where the funeral and committal services will be conducted
on Thursday, November 17th, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Those wishing
to make a donation in memory of Doug are asked to consider the
Community Living London, The Kidney Foundation, or the Heart
& Stroke Foundation.
