Carl was a faithful member of Grace United Church as well as
a dedicated community volunteer. He was retired after dedicating
35 years to laboratory research at Dow Chemical in Sarnia. Carl
was a graduate of Dresden High School, Western Ontario Agricultural
College (Ridgetown), and the Chemical Technician program at Lambton
College, and was also a member of the Dresden Sports Hall of
Fame. Friends will be received at the McKenzie and Blundy Funeral
Home and Cremation Centre, 431 North Christina Street, Sarnia on
Thursday, February 24, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral
service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2005, at 10 a.m.
at Grace United Church. Interment to follow at Dresden Cemetery
at 2 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Grace
United Church, 990 Cathcart Blvd., Sarnia N7S 2H2 or the Heart
