SMITH, J. Bruce
J. Bruce of Saint Thomas, on Friday, August 5, 2005 at The St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in his 79th year. Dearly loved husband of Marjory (KEITH) SMITH and loving father of Keith and his wife Doreen SMITH of Saint Thomas, Sharon and her husband Duncan DEDECKER of Rodney, Barb and her husband Terry OLSEN of Calgary, Mardy and her husband Bob PLAIN of Port Stanley, Sandy and her husband Wayne LEWIS of Spruce View, Alberta and Jim and his wife Connie SMITH of Lethbridge, Alberta. Also survived by a number of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, lovingly remembered by a sister Barbara and her husband Howard HILDENBRAND of Webster, New York. Bruce was born June 19, 1927 in Lockport, New York, the son of the late Dr. J.W. and his wife Marjorie (CHAPEL) SMITH. Bruce was a truck driver and resided in Saint Thomas and area and also lived in Alberta for twenty five years and belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion in Sylvan Lake. At the families request there will be no public visitation, a private service will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lung Association or the Cancer Society. Williams Funeral Home, 45 Egin Street, Saint Thomas, in charge of arrangements.

NAKAGAWA, Miyoko " May" (née MAIKAWA)
Passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2005 at Toronto Western Hospital at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband George (Kiyokazu). Loving mother of Joyce, her husband Peter DEDERER and Edward. Cherished Obaachan of Graeme (Kiyoji.) Loving sister of Yukio MAIKAWA of Japan. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and Friends. Family and Friends will be received at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 11th, 2005 at 10: 30 a.m. in our chapel. Cremation to follow privately. If desired, donations in memory of Mrs. NAKAGAWA may be made to the Toronto Buddhist Temple.

PULKONIK, Kenneth Joseph (July 1, 1940-October 26, 2005)
Kenneth J. PULKONIK of Toronto, Ontario passed away peacefully at home, in his 66th year, on October 26, 2005. Ken PULKONIK graduated from M.I.T. with degrees in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy and Management and a Member of PhiKappa Theta. He was the co-founder and President of Rush Electronics Ltd. since 1983. His parents, Joseph and Wanda PULKONIK predeceased Ken. He is survived by his aunt Jean KOZA and his cousins Rodney KOZA and wife Barbara, Barbara DEDESCO and husband Albert, John KOZLOWSKI and wife Maureen, and Jan KOZLOWSKI and wife Pat. He will be greatly missed by his family, Friends, fellow Rush employees and business associates. Ken will be resting at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Rd., Brampton (north of Steeles Ave.) 905-456-8190 on November 1, from 7-9 p.m. and November 2, from 2-3 p.m. Funeral Service commences at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation.

LESLIE, Muriel Irene (DEDMAN)
At Versa Care Centre London, on December 17, 2005, in her 96th year. Has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour and her husband, Edward, who predeceased her in 1997. Will be sadly missed by daughter Marion GRUNDY and Dave of London, Ontario. And daughter Shirley McMAHON of Grand Prairie, Texas. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many Friends in Cambridge and London. resting at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge for visitation Tuesday, December 20, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with the Funeral Service on Wednesday at 11: 00 a.m. at Barthel Funeral Home. Interment in Mount View Cemetery. Tributes may be made online at www.mem.com. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Gideon Bible Society or a charity of ones choice greatly appreciated by the family. Mrs. Tamara (Tammy) VROMAN a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at C.K.H.A. "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg at the age of 55. Tammy was born in Chatham and was a daughter of the late George ARMSTRONG and the late Hilda LABADIE. She had resided in Wallaceburg all of her life and was an employee of Solus Manufacturing in Wallaceburg. Beloved wife of Willie VROMAN. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Sherry and Pat McGUIRE of Woodstock and Cindy and Ron WATSON of Wallaceburg. Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren. Kind sister and sister-in-law of Steve ARMSTRONG, Nicole and Brent HUNTER and Georgette and Jim KADA. Daughter-in-law of Regina (Courteau) VROMAN. Dear niece of Pearl FOSTER, Loretta MARTIN, Dianne DEDRICK and Sandra IRWIN. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The late Tamara (Tammy) VROMAN rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street in Wallaceburg until Monday, May 16, 2005 when funeral services were held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Fr. Greg BONIN, Celebrant. Cremation to follow and the interment of ashes will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Tamara (Tammy) VROMAN.

Passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 1, 2005, at General and Marine Hospital, Collingwood, in his 91st year. Loving husband to Joyce NELAN of Wasaga Beach. Dear father to Terry LOVE, Toronto, Gail LAVALLEY, Montreal, Brian NELAN, Toronto, Moira DEDRICK, Caledon, Rob NELAN, Ajax, Laura DEMPSEY, Mount Albert. Grandpa to seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 132 River Road E., Wasaga Beach (705-429-1040). Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the General and Marine Hospital, Collingwood, as expressions of sympathy.

Peacefully at home on Saturday, August 6, 2005, in his 76th year. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, and sister Mary FERREN. Dear brother of Jim, Phil, Joe, Alex and Catherine DEDRICK. Jack will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to St. Christopher's Society and the staff at May Robinson Apartments for their care and support.
