SIMNOVEC, Milan
Of Saint Thomas, on Monday, October 10, 2005, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of 57 years of Ivanka "Jane" (JAGODIC) SIMNOVEC and loved father of Victor and his wife Betty SIMNOVEC of Edmonton, Alexander "Sandy" SIMNOVEC of Saint Thomas, Stanley SIMNOVEC of Edmonton and Mary Paul and her friend Tony CUZZOCREA of London. Dear brother of Vincent SIMNOVEC of Croatia. Loved grandfather of Tammy, Steven, Milan, Jordan, Stephan, Ivanka, Dana, Christopher and Jeffrey and great-grandfather of Jade, Jake and Bailey. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Milan was born in Slovania on March 13, 1924, the son of the late Vince and Maria SIMNOVEC. He came to Canada in 1951 and worked as a machinist at Clarke Equipment. He was a member of Holy Angels' Church and the London Ski Club. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Thursday morning and then to Holy Angels' Church for Mass of the Christian Burial at 10: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels' Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7: 30 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Peacefully at the McCormick Home on November 23, 2005 Mrs. Ruby Irene ALDRIDGE of London in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Alan R. ALDRIDGE; loving companion of the late Leonard GREEN. Mother of Donna (Michael) KNEZIC, Lynda CUZZOCREA, Larry (Judy) ALDRIDGE, Brian (Wanda) ALDRIDGE, Kim (Jim) EVANS of Alberta, and Sandra CARD of Alberta. Cherished Grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Nellie BORTON, brothers Don and Sid, and sister Eleanor. Ruby will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, and close Friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of McCormick Home for their loving care. Visitation will take place in the Lloyd R. MALCOLM, Hugh Russell
Passed away peacefully at his home in Bloomsburg on Sunday, September 4, 2005, in his 83rd year. Husband of Doreen (née LEFLER) SALTZBERRY and the late Luella (née VINCENT) BOOTH. Dear father of the late Richard BOOTH (1985) and his wife Joan of Tillsonburg and Bernice and husband Joe CUZZOLINO of Oakville. Loving grandfather of Barry BOOTH, Kim CRONMILLER and her husband Steve, Brandon and Brianna CUZZOLINO and great grand_son Dylan CRONMILLER. Survived by his sister Marion CARTER of Ingersoll, Anna and Archie LONGWORTH of Ingersoll, Merle and Archie BRENNEMAN of Woodstock. Predeceased by his brother Finlay (1936). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Russ is also survived by and remembered as Grandpa to Doreen's family, Dean and Kelly SALTZBERRY (Tyler and Steven) of LaSalette, Dale and Scott BROWN (Tenisha, Corina, Quinn and Steven) of Simcoe. Russ served in World War 2 from 1941-1945 overseas with the Signal Corps; was P.P. of Optimist Club of Tillsonburg (1967-1968); was a P.M. of King Hiram Lodge #78 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons Tillsonburg; a member of the O.E.S., Tillsonburg; a member of Mocha Temple London; a member of the Hillbilly Outhouse #1, Saint Thomas; a P.P. of the Tillsonburg Fair Board (1971-1972); a retired teacher and co-ordinator of Masonry and Carpentry at Fanshawe College, Simcoe, retiring in 1988 and a soldier of The Salvation Army since 1999. Friends are invited to call at The Salvation Army Simcoe Community Church 184 Colborne Street North, Simcoe on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service for Russ will be held on Thursday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Tillsonburg Cemetery. Passed away suddenly at Sunnybrook Hospital on December 12, 2005. Beloved wife for 58 years to Alberto, loving mother of Joe (Merike), Lina (Joe ALBI,) Rose (Norm KIRK,) Frank and Aldo (Linda.) "Nonna" to 8 loving grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Her greatest gift was the love and joy she shared with everyone. She is also survived by her sister Adelina and brother Guglielmo, as well as other loving family and Friends.
