KLUGE,
Maria (née
GYÖRÖSSY-
CSEPREGHY)
Peacefully at home on Saturday, November 5, after bravely enduring
ovarian cancer diagnosed at a late stage. Maria will be greatly
missed and her memory will live on in the hearts of her husband
Hans of 49 years, her children Florian (Kate) and Clara (George
TOLOMICZENKO.)
Maria was a much loved Omama to her grandchildren,
Alexander, Alena, Ella and Sophie. During her illness, Maria
buoyed all visitors through her courage in the face of death,
her sense of humor and the constant love she conveyed.
Maria was a proud graduate (R.N., P.H.N.) of the Hospital for
Sick Children School of Nursing (Spring class of '56). After
practicing both in hospital and public health nursing, she devoted
herself to her family and artistic volunteer pursuits including
opera and theatre. The family would like to extend a heartfelt
thank you for the compassion and care shown by the caregivers,
nurses and physicians through the Temmy Latner Centre, especially,
Dr. R. GOLDMAN.
Private funeral arrangements have been made.
In lieu of flowers, please direct donations in support to either
the Hospital for Sick Children, Cochlear Implant Program via
(416) 813-7259 or the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care
via (416) 586-4800, extension 7884.
