Loving mother of Robert (Olga), Glen (Clare), Douglas (Stacie) and Kelly Ann. Devoted grandmother of Sarah, Christopher, Nadia, Laura and Derek. Dear sister of Alan COBAIN. The beloved husband of Verna RUSSELL, of 60 years and son of the late Annie HOGG and George LITTLEJOHNS. Loving father of Linda LITTLEJOHNS (Art COBB,) of Waterloo, Sharon (Alex) WILSON, of Mount Forest and Marie (Jim) RIECH, of Waterloo. He will be loved and remembered by his grandchildren Dan Wickens, Dean WICKENS, Julia POLUCK, Christine WILSON, Angie SOMERVILLE, Jon RIECH and Tim RIECH. Also survived by six great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Ilene LITTLEJOHNS, of Dundalk. Predeceased by his brother, Wes. The family will receive Friends at the Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton on Friday January 28th, from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9: 00 p.m. The service will be held at the Saint John's United Church, Flesherton on Saturday, January 29th, at 11: 00 a.m. Interment, Flesherton Cemetery. MORRISON, Evelyn Doris (née POTTER)

Peacefully at Community Care Nursing Home, Port Hope, in her 101st year. Born in Birmingham, England, to John Thomas POTTER (1874-1959) and Amy Clara (CALDICOTT) POTTER (1874-1944,) the third of four children, Alfred John (1897-1902), Gladys Gertrude (PAGE) (1900-1952,) and Cyril Charles (1911-1986.) Evelyn came to Toronto in 1923 with her family and married William Reynolds MORRISON in 1938. In 1940, Shirley-Anne was born, who became Mrs. John James SMITH in 1958. Evelyn and Bill operated a corner store (Becky's Variety) in the Beaches area of Scarborough for 8 years. Widowed in 1980, Evelyn later moved to Russell, Ontario, with her granddaughter. She was Nana to three grandchildren, Rebecca Evelyn (1959), David William John (1961) and Jacob Rand (1973). David and Shaela presented her with three great-grandchildren, Nathaniel William John (1986), Matthew David (1989), and Molly Evelyn (1991). Rebecca adopted Amy Elizabeth Chun-Feng in 2001 (born 2000), and Emily Kathleen Lin-Xia in 2004 (born 2003). Jacob and Carrie had Evelyn Victoria in 2005. Evelyn was loved and will be greatly missed by her nieces, Jean COBB (Cliff) and Muriel WHITWORTH (Eric) of Toronto, and nephews Kenneth PAGE (Pat) of Aurora and William MCINNES/MCINNIS (Lorna) of Texas, U.S.A. She was predeceased by Dorothy PETERSON of Texas, U.S.A. She leaves many great and great-great nieces and nephews. A service will take place at the Pine Hills Cemetery Chapel (Kennedy Road and St. Clair Ave. E., Scarborough), on Saturday at 2: 00 o'clock, with visitation from 12: 30 p.m. until time of service. Following interment at Pine Hills Cemetery, refreshments will be served from 2: 30 to 4:30 o'clock in the Pine Hills Reception Centre. It is with profound sadness that the Miles family announces Frances' (Tancy) passing, after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer disease, on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Ontario, at age 83. Mother of Gary COBURN of Whitehorse and grandmother of Rosie and Riley of Galiano Island, British Columbia and remembered with fondness by Wendy COBURN and her daughter Laura also of Galiano Island. Loved sister of Isabel MILLS and Kathleen SCOTT of Meaford and Pearl MILLS of Markdale and remembered as a dear aunt by her many nieces and nephews and their families. A memorial funeral service will be conducted at the Albert Place Multi Purpose Room (William Street entrance) on Sunday, January 23rd, 2005 at 2: 30 p.m. with a time of fellowship and remembrances following.
