SHARPE, Walter John (né SHESTOPALOFF)
87, Truro and formerly of Toronto, Ontario.
Passed away peacefully March 3, 2005 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Penza, Russia, he was a son of the late Ivan and Anna (ORLASAKINA) SHESTOPALOFF. He immigrated to Canada as a young boy. Walter was a very well respected geological surveyor who traveled the world doing work for various companies. He was recognized for his contributions to mining in New Brunswick at CIM Geological Conference in Bathurst, New Brunswick in 1993. He is survived by sister, Galena BERGOT, Vancouver, British Columbia daughters, Cathy (Ian) SCOTT, Truro; Mary (Brian) CHISHOLM, Alton sons, Michael (Catherine), Moncton, New Brunswick; Vincent, Inuvik, Northwest Territories; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren nephews, Norman and Alan of Toronto; John and Michael of Vancouver niece, Diane, Toronto and close friend, Patricia PEZZE, Toronto. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (McCABE;) son, David brother, Edward. He enjoyed life and lived it with humor, curiosity and enthusiasm. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro.

Passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2005, at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Amelia. Loving father to Anna Maria (Tony MacRI) and to Michael LAMANNA (Nathalie CLARK.) Cherished nonno to Gabriel, Justin, Alessia and to Sophia. Dear brother to Joe LAMANNA (Bettina), Franco LAMANNA (Maria LUISA), Mariangela (Franco CIMICATA,) Bettina (Armando ARIANNA) and to Nicola LAMANNA (Antonietta). Friends will be received at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., (1 light south of Wilson Ave., west of Jane St. 416-249-4499) on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 from 6-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2005 from St. Bernard de Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church (on Lawrence Ave. east of Jane St.) at 10: 00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation on behalf of the family.

Peacefully, on Thursday, March 31, 2005, at North York General Hospital, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Orlando for 47 years. Loving mother of Nadia and her fiance Sam FERRUSI, and Walter and his wife Jacqueline. Cherished Nonna of Brittany and Michael. Giorgia will be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, relatives and many Friends, both here in Canada and in Italy. The family will receive Friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Epiphany of Our Lord Parish, 3200 Pharmacy Ave. (north of Finch Ave.) Entombment Highland Memory Gardens.
