Mark was the former owner-operator of
Brown's Sports Store in Ridgetown. A private family service will
be conducted by Reverend Sheryle
STEADMAN of New Scotland United
Church. Mark's family will receive Friends at their residence
anytime between 4: 00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 to celebrate
and recognize Mark's life. Donations made by cheque to the Ridgetown
Library or the New Scotland United Church Building Fund appreciated
and may be made at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street

Passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on Wednesday, September
7, 2005 at Victoria Residence, Chatham. She leaves her daughter

GUZA) of Calgary; grandchildren Michele (John

of Mississauga, Susan and Stephen of Calgary; great-grandchildren
Catherine and Nadia
AUDIA; and son Stanley
MATKO.
She is also
survived by her sisters Anna

KNIZET) of Winnipeg, Cecile (Ed
TOOLE) of Kelowna, and Petranella
PLEVZA, brother Stanley (Joan) of Milk River, Alberta; and many
nieces and nephews. Josephine was predeceased by her parents
Stanley and Stephanie
PLEVZA, and by her husband Steve (1980)
and sister Frances
KOROL (1996.) She was born in Zavar, Slovakia
on June 10, 1920. Her family immigrated to Canada in 1938. Throughout
her life, Josephine lived in Winnipeg, Hamilton and Ridgetown.
Her family wishes to extend their gratitude to the caregivers,
nurses and staff at Victoria Residence for their excellent care
especially during her last days. Josephine will be remembered
for her love of life, family and special outings to the mountains
with her grandchildren in Alberta. Parish Prayers will be held
at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown
on Friday at 7: 00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St.
Michael's Catholic Church, Ridgetown on Saturday, September 10,
2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre
