CAWDRON, E. Elizabeth (née CAMPBELL)
Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus, on Sunday, February 20, 2005, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of M. Percy CAWDRON. Loving mother of John C. McDIARMID (Barbara) and Pam McCURDY. Cherished grandmother of Heather and David McDIARMID. She had served on many boards in the City of Ottawa in executive positions Young Women's Christian Association, Maycourt Club of Ottawa, Protestant Children's Village, Women's Canadian Club; National Gallery of Ottawa, Chelsea Club; Royal Ottawa Golf Club, Ottawa Home Economics, and McGill University. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 25, 2005 at Peel Memorial Hospital, Brampton. Beloved wife of the late Richard William BROWN. Loving mother of Stephen, Clelia, Richard and Michael. Much loved and cherished Nonna of Amy, Rebecca, Jennifer, Isaac, Lindsay and Matthew. Biz Nonna to her precious nipote, Eva. Survived by brothers Mario and Quinto FERRI and sisters Ada McNULTY, Rosa PALMER and Lucia CAWKELL. Predeceased by brothers Aldo and Nick FERRI. Mary was an inspiration to all, thinking of others, lending a helping hand whenever she could. She enjoyed crocheting, sports and was a member of the Brampton Memoirs group, writing and sharing with us her family history. She will be greatly missed by her family and Friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 27, 2005 at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. S., Brampton, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jerome's Parish, 8530 Chinguacousy Rd., Brampton at 10 a.m. Friday, January 28th. At the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, September 27th, 2005, in her 97th year. Edythe Marie CAWKER, the beloved daughter of the late Frank CAWKER and his late wife, Gertrude (née COOK.) Loved aunt of Heather and her husband, Gary VEDOVA. Loving great-aunt of Stephan MIKLOS and his wife, Kinga. Predeceased by her brother, Stuart and her sister, Helen (Mrs. Murray GUNN.) Edythe was a member of the Spinners and Weavers Guild. She taught at Owen Sound Collegiate and Vocational Institute starting her career in 1933 and retiring in 1968. Friends may call at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home, on Thursday, from 2: 00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday morning at 11: 00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would appreciated by the family.

Dear grandfather of Gale and David; Emily and Christopher; Erin and Meagan and great-grandfather of Amanda, Nick and Michael. Special friend of June HILLEN of Exeter. Frank was a veteran of World War 2 and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, R.E. Pooley Branch 167, Exeter. He was also a long time member at Exeter Golf Course. Cremation has taken place. Beloved wife of the late George Leslie Norman COLLINS (1996) and dearly loved mother of Bill and his wife Brenda COLLINS, Saint Thomas, Joe and his wife Marlene of Dutton, Gerald and his wife Christine of Wallaceburg, Pat and her husband Tom GLOVER of Fingal, Wendy and her husband George GLOVER of West Lorne, Brenda and her husband Simon ECKER of West Lorne, Penny and her husband Ken JONES of Union and Jeff and Brenda COLLINS of Saint Thomas. Dear sister of Fred and his wife Verda BOE of Edmonton, Harold and his wife Inez BOE of St. Thomas. Predeceased by 2 brothers Bert and Harvey and a sister Marjorie GRATTON. Sadly missed by 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was born in Saskatchewan on May 4, 1926, the daughter of the late Alfred and Edith (CAWTHRA) BOE. She lived most of her life in this area. She was a school teacher and also worked at Top Notch Feeds. She was a life member of Yarmouth Centre United Church and the United Church Women of the Church. She was an active volunteer with the Victorian Order of Nurses, Meals on Wheels and a member of the 55 Plus Club, Port Stanley. Dorothy's number one priority was always family and she was a dedicated, devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Thursday at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Window Restoration Fund of Yarmouth Centre United Church.
