DORGELOOS, Jacob
Went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 Jacob DORGELOOS, age 80 of Sarnia. Beloved husband of Henny (VEENKAMP.) Loving father of Bert (Rita) DORGELOOS, Diane DORGELOOS, Lena (Henry) BYSMA and Debbie (Warner) BAKER and the late Brenda (1992) (Colin) WILLETTE. Loved grandfather of Connie (Steve) VANDEHOEF, Chris DORGELOOS, Jody (Collin) PALMER, Jon BYSMA and Joshua BYSMA, Jennifer (Tim) SCHERING, Carolyn BAKER, Nathan (Corina) BAKER, David BAKER, Lindsay WILLETTE and Jason WILLETTE. Cherished great-grandfather of Jacob, Mitchell, Samantha and Conner VANDEHOEF, Luke SCHERING, Dylan and Brandon BAKER, Blake and Ryan PALMER. Dear brother of Rudy (Jenny) DORGELOOS, Trui (Albert) VISSCHER, the late Annie (Jaap) DEVRIES, Christine (Gezinus) WOLTER and Siepe (Geert) GOLKESMA. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and two brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law.
Jacob was an active member of the Covenant Christian Church, Wyoming and was a well established home builder all of his working life. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. from Covenant Christian Church, London Line and Camlachie Road, Wyoming. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Friday, July 1, 2005 afternoon from 2 to 4 and evening from 7 to 9. At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday, August 28th, 2005. Martin W. BYSTREK of Fifth Ave, Woodstock, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Inge W. BYSTREK (née VITZ.) Dear father of Mark of Toronto, Tracy HAMMER and her husband Clyde and their son Christopher of Prince Albert. Survived by a sister and a niece and their family in Germany. Friends are welcome to meet with the family in the lounge of the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Thursday, September 1, 2005 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a time of remembering and reflecting on a life well lived. Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre University Hospital on Monday, June 13, 2005, June (MacROW) RAGIN of Goderich, formerly of London in her 77th year with her family at her side. Beloved wife of Murray for 56 years. Devoted mom of Gerry (predeceased 1991) (Astrid) and Judy (Rob) WILDING. Loving grandma to Becky (Tom) BAYNTON, Kelly RAGIN (Joe BYSTRIK,) Brandy and Chelsea VARRICCHIO. Step-gramma to Robbie WILDING and Jodi WILDING and proud great-gramma of Ben BAYNTON. Will also be missed by brother Bill MacROW (Betty) and brother-in-law Levi WHITE/WHYTE and many special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Flo WILKEY and brothers Ed and Chet. Friends and relatives may call at T. Stephenson & son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the memorial service on Thursday June 16 at 2 p.m. with The Reverend Dr. Donald LOCKETT officiating. Loving grandmother of Drew and his wife Nancy, and Christopher. Sadly missed by her cousin Anna BURIJ, family and Friends. Resting at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel, 2104 Kipling Ave., Etobicoke (two blocks north of Rexdale Blvd.), from Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Panakhyda at 7: 30 p.m. Funeral Liturgy Monday at 10 a.m. from the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre Chapel, 60 Richview Rd. Mrs. BYSTRYCKI will rest in the Care Centre from 9 a.m. Monday. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. Special thanks to staff and volunteers at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre.
