LEHR, Amanda (née WEISS)
Amanda of Saint Thomas on Thursday, July 28, 2005, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Emil LEHR (1990) and dearly loved mother of Delores BUYE of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Loretta LEHR of St. Angus, Quebec, Sheila and her husband Bev MIZON of Saint Thomas, Janice and husband Adrianus VANDERMYDEN of Brooks, Alberta. Dear sister of Raymond WEISS and Rosie KRUGER both of Medicine Hat. Predeceased by a brother Emile WEISS and a sister Martha EHRET. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Amanda was born in Hilda, Alberta on November 8, 1917 the daughter of the late John K. and Rosena (JESKE) WEISS. She was a retired Nurses Aid and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Tuesday afternoon and then to Redeemer Lutheran Church where funeral service will be held at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Harold Bruce GLENN died suddenly in Cypress, California on Monday, February 7, 2005. Dear husband and best friend of Jessie BUYERS, beloved father of John and Norma, Mark and Carolyn, Jeff and Carol, Scott and Kris; loved grandpa of Mackenzie, Bobby, Riley, Everett, Madeleine and Shannon. Brother-in-law of John and Doreen BUYERS, Donna and Jack CALDWELL, Beverley and Dan BAILEY of the Alliston area. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bruce leaves a sister Margaret HAYTER of Varna, Ontario and predeceased by a brother Gerald GLENN of Hensall, Ontario. Bruce was a graduate of the University of Guelph's illustrious class of '51 and former head Cattle Buyer for Canada Packers. A service in celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at 3 p.m. at Humbervale United Church, 1447 Royal York Road, Toronto. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Bruce's name to the A.L.S. Society of Ontario, 265 Yorkland Boulevard, would be appreciated. (A.L.S. Bruce leaves a sister Margaret HAYTER of Varna, Ontario and was predeceased by a brother Gerald GLENN of Hensall, Ontario.

A service in celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at 3 p.m. at Humbervale United Church, 1447 Royal York Road. Peacefully, on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Allendale, Milton. Eliza LAWSON in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late David A. LAWSON. Loving mother of Ruth (Fraser THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON) of St. Catharines, Betty (Lawrence DRUMMOND) of Lindsay, Helen (Bob MOFFAT) of Drayton, Margaret (Fred HAYWARD) of Oakville and Arthur (Lynne LAWSON) of Guelph. Much loved grandma of 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her grandchildren Lisa and Stephen GILMORE. Dearly missed by her sister Jessie DEVLIN and sister-in-law Laura DICKINSON. Predeceased by her brother Arthur DICKINSON and her sister Vera BUYERS. Eliza will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James Street, Milton, 905-878-2669 on Friday, February 11th from 7-9 p.m. and at St. Paul's United Church, Milton on Saturday, February 12th from 10: 00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church (Lawson Fund) or to S.H.A.R.E.

Delphine Yvonne BUYS of Seaforth at Seaforth Community Hospital on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 in her 86th year. Delphine KEPPENS beloved wife of the late Karel BUYS (1971.) Loved mother of Nicole ELLACOTT and her husband Bob, and grandmother of Michelle and Marco, Sean and Shannon and great-grandmother of Chelsea, Dustin, Brendon, and Isabelle. Dear step-mother of Pierre and his wife Marcella and stepgrandchildren Cris and Guy and stepgreat-granddaughter Dorotheé. Delphine is also survived by one brother Etienne and his wife Simmone and sister-in-law Marcella of Belgium. Predeceased by two brothers Benjamin and Gustaaf and parents Pierre and Leontine (ROELANDT) KEPPENS. The family will receive Friends at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, Friday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Seaforth on Saturday August 27th at 11: 00 a.m. Interment St. James Cemetery, Seaforth.
