Retired Owner of Mid-North Caulking and Installation Ltd. Dedicated golfer of Lively Golf Course. Peacefully in hospital, with his family all around him, after a lengthy illness, on May 26, 2005. Beloved husband of Alice (O'MALLEY.) Loving father of Catherine and her husband Peter CLOTHIER of Toronto, Diane and her husband Ross MOORE of Toronto, and Dave SMITH of Sudbury. Devoted Grandpa of his beautiful grandchildren, Rebecca, Shoshauna, Cody, Samantha, and Brooke. son of Margaret and John SMITH (deceased) of Markham. Brother of Harry SMITH and his late wife Lucy of Toronto, Peter SMITH and his wife Marlene of Toronto. Brother-in-law to Elizabeth (Liz) and Morley POTASH, Maureen O'MALLEY and her late husband Tony, and John O'MALLEY (deceased.) Uncle to nieces and nephews, Lorne, Tobi, Randy, Marilyn, Kathleen, and Carolyn, and great-niece Addie and great-nephew Jonah. A special thank you to Community Care Access Centre and his nurses from Bayshore who faithfully cared for him daily and the staff of Memorial Hospital Site. The dedicated care of his doctors Dr. David EWING- BUI, Dr. Julie BOWEN and Dr. Terry CARSCADDEN was sincerely appreciated by his family. Passed away peacefully at her home in Brampton on Wednesday, August 10th, 2005 at age 93 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Mary Josephine SULLIVAN, beloved wife of the late John Charles SULLIVAN (March 22, 1982.) Loving mother of Michael and his wife Jackie of Strathmore, Alberta and her daughter Eileen McMANAMON of Brampton. Beloved grandmother of Catharine and Michael McMANAMON, Dolan SULLIVAN and Michelle CYR. Dear sister of the late Frank WALSH of Guelph, Alice BUIE of Toronto, Florence STAPLES of Guelph and Ellen WHELAN (her twin) of Weston. A 70-year member of the Catholic Women's League. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 15 at 10: 30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 940 North Park Drive, Brampton. Cremation. FAAS, John C.
A resident of Ridgetown, John C. FAAS died at Four Counties Health Centre, Newbury on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the age of 75. Born in Zeeland, The Netherlands, son of the late Cornelius and Lavina (VAN DE LUSTER) FAAS. John founded Faas Construction in 1950 and was the last Mayor of the Town of Ridgetown. He also was a Deputy Reeve of the former Kent County, a Past President of the Ridgetown Rotary Club and the Ridgetown Chamber of Commerce. John was an Elder and Teacher at Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church and an avid golfer.
Beloved husband of Joan Marie (BURR) FAAS and the late Simone (WILLEMKENS) FAAS (1999.) Dear father of Dan and Elaine FAAS of Ridgetown, Wayne and Shirley FAAS of R.R.#3 Chatham and Tim and Ceri FAAS of Michigan. Step-father of Angela and Robert. Grandfather of Amy, Jenni fer, Matthew, Dawn, Marsi, Denise, Brady, Ben, Cory, David, Ariel and Eric. Greatgrandfather of Benton, Madison and Isabella. Beloved husband of Wilhelmina (BUIS) (KIVIMAKI) CHAPMAN and the late Betty CHAPMAN. Loved father of Nancy and her husband Bev WILTSIE of Aylmer and Thomas R. and his wife Marguerite CHAPMAN and dear step-father of Karen and her husband Dwight MONCK of Pickle Lake and Brian KIVIMAKI of Coombs, British Columbia. Dear brother of Corinne ATKINSON (late Jack ATKINSON,) Marion and her husband Cliff REA of Saint Thomas, Leroy and his wife Anna CHAPMAN of St. Thomas and the late Dean CHAPMAN and his wife Diane CHAPMAN of Petrolia. Predeceased by 2 brothers Jack and Bill CHAPMAN. Sadly missed by a number of grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was born June 10, 1922 in Saint Thomas, son of the late Roy and Pearl (SHEPHERD) CHAPMAN. He resided here all his life and was retired from Saint Thomas Psychiatric Hospital (Department of Health) in 1987. Robert served in the Navy during World War 2 and was a former member of Branch 41 of the Royal Canadian Legion and was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Saturday at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

MITCHELL, Myrtle Cecilia (CAMPBELL)
On Sunday, March 6th, after a courageous battle with Alzheimers, Myrtle Cecilia (CAMPBELL) in her 83rd year passed away with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife for 60 years to William Andrew (Mitch.) Cherished mother of Cindy BUIST and her loving partner Jack GENNARO; and Brenda ROUND and her loving husband Dave. Adored Grandmother of Andrew and Holly ROUND. Predeceased by her brother Bill (late Gladys). Survived by her brothers Doug (Betty), Elmer (Jeannine). Predeceased by brother-in-law Ken and sister-in-law Betty. Survived by brother-in-laws Stu and Bud, sister-in-laws Ruth and Joan (Bill). At Myrtle's request there will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service and internment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Longworth Long Term Care and Middlesex Terrace Nursing Home for their compassionate care. As an expression of sympathy and in memory of Myrtle, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of London.

BUITENHUIS, Patricia Anne
Pat passed away peacefully in Toronto on January 25, 2005 at the age of 77. Survived by her sister Shirley, children Paul, Penelope and Pym, and grandchildren Kate, Jason, Malcolm and Noah. She will be much missed. Pat lived a full and rewarding life, touching many with her dry humour, openness and creativity. She charted new territory throughout her life, and her strength and resilience have set an example for all of us. The family extend special thanks to her caregiver Paulette John and the team at Kensington Gardens. It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Peter Hans DEUTSCHER, unexpectedly, as a result of a heart attack, on Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at the age of 49. Peter was the loving husband for 4 years to Monika (née BROKOPP), with plans to start a family in the near future. He was dearly loved by Peanut and Birdie II, his feathered Friends. He will be sadly missed by his parents Robert and Ingeborg DEUTSCHER, sister Rose and Reg SPOLJARICH and their children Sabina and Ian, sister Linda BUITENHUIS and her children Derek and Alyssa, sister Pamela DEUTSCHER, her partner Mike, and their children Joshua, Victoria and Riley, and all of his relatives in Germany.
