BOX, Jack Edward
Having fought a courageous battle with cancer, Jack passed away on April 13, 2005 in his 80th year. Proud and loving father and grandfather of Lynn WRIGHT (Dale) and their children Laura and Allison of London, Gordon (Anne MINER) and their children Katie, Mathew and Maggie of Mississauga, Doug (Robin WATSON) and their children Madelaine and Willie and Greg and his wife Wendy (BEAUCHAMP.) He is survived by his sister Ruby HUMPHRIES of London and brother Bruce BOX of Vancouver. Dear brother of the late Ivan BOX and May SMITH. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Jack will be sadly missed by his loving companion of many years, Marci ARCAND. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, on Saturday April 16th at 11 A.M. The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to Dr. H. LAMPE, Dr. D. WILSON, Dr. J. SWIFT and the nurses in the Palliative care unit at Parkwood Hospital, for their excellent care. HASKETT, Clarence
The family of the late Clarence HASKETT extend sincere thanks to everyone who supported us through the recent loss of a very special husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. We appreciated the floral tributes, memorial donations, phone calls, cards and condolences, food sent to our home, and all the hugs and handshakes at the funeral home. Special thanks to the Lucan and District Lions for the kindness and concern always extended to "Lion Clarence" and especially for the meaningful memorial service; to Reverend Sue McCULLOUGH for her visits and kind words during the funeral service; and to Chuck BOX, Marianne EAGLESON, our staff and all the funeral professionals who offered help or attended visitation or the service. Passed away peacefully on Monday November 28, 2005 at the Stratford General Hospital. Hilda HASKETT of Innerkip in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Jack HASKETT whom she married February 23, 1940. Loving mother of Alvin and wife Margaret and Arnold and wife Nancy all of R.R.#1 Bright. She will be sadly missed by her five grandchildren Greg and Jodi HASKETT, Heather HASKETT, Will and Stephanie HASKETT, Brandon HASKETT amd Spencer HASKETT and by great grandchildren Sierra, Sydney and Christian HASKETT. She is survived by one sister Gladys HEWITT of Mount Elgin. Predeceased by her parents Robert HOWARD (1938) and Edith BOXALL (1953,) brothers Roy, Stanley, Gordon, and Cecil HOWARD, sisters Edythe BAUMAN/BOWMAN, Irene HUGHES, Myrtle SIMS and Helen MEATHERALL. A long time resident of Toronto West End and more recently Milton, she was predeceased by her husband Frederick William THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, her brothers William STRINGER, Victor C. STRINGER and sister Margaret Graham GARLAND. She will be sadly missed by her sister Mary HEAPS, and daughters Victoria THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON of Texas (Raymond MARTIN) and Joyce FRANK (Lloyd FRANK) and special granddaughters Paige, Signy and Siobhan FRANK and will be remembered by her family and Friends and the Kahshe Lake Community in Muskoka. She was a very patient and loving person and had a stabilizing influence on many people.
