KOURI, Marlene (née YARED)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 21, 2205. Loving and cherished mother of Gregory (Jean-Marie), and Andrew (Susan), devoted grandmother to Megan, Alexandra, Caroline, Vaness and Ava. She is survived as well by her loving sister Susan (Alex MASCIOTRA,) her nephew David and niece Stephanie and numerous caring Friends and relatives. Predeceased by her adoring parents Nicholas YARED and Helen AZIZ, and beloved sister Elaine. Her sense of humour, her outgoing character and her unique style will be greatly missed. The funeral service will be held Friday, September 23, 10 a.m. at Saint - Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, 80 de Castelneau East. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cedars Cancer Fund would be appreciated.

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ahleen "Lee" AZIZ (Hinnegan,) at University Hospital on November 3rd, 2005. In two weeks, Ahleen would have celebrated her 89th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Ernest AZIZ (1988.) Dearly loved mother of Ernie and David (Kathy) all of London, and Mary Anne (BAYNTON) of Barrie. Cherished and loved grandmother of Andrea, Kristin, Meredith, Allison and Laura. Dear sister of Jack HINNEGAN of Chatham and Rosemary MILBERRY of Petawawa. Predeceased by brother Brady HINNEGAN. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family invites Friends and relatives to the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, for visitation on Sunday from 7: 00-9:00 p.m with prayers at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Monday, November 7th, 2005 at 10: 00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. Suddenly at Masonville Manor on Sunday, December 4, 2005. Ruby Elizabeth GRIERSON (BRETHOUR) of London in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Wheaton GRIERSON (1985.) Loving mother of Donna and her husband John AZIZ and Linda and her husband the late Brian ECCLES of Edmonton. Dear grandmother of John AZIZ and his wife Bonnie, Jeff AZIZ and his wife Amy, Matt AZIZ and his wife Sarah, all of London, and Cameron ECCLES of Edmonton. Special Great-Grandma to Ryan and Julia, Hayden, Hannah and Lily. Dear sister of the late Hazel PFAFF, Myrtle BRINE, Pearl BRINE, and Frebis STEPHEN. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. REIMANIS, Lidija " Gigi"
On March 11, 2005, in her 88th year, with grace and dignity, in her treasured Hamilton home, surrounded by her beloved family Dace (Dotsy) and Graham GORDON; Irene and Gregory AZIZ and granddaughters Natalie and Karina AZIZ. Born of Latvian parents in 1917 in St. Petersburg, Russia. Studied music at the Riga Conservatory. Came to Hamilton with husband Arnold in 1951. Known as "Gigi", she lead a rich and optimistic life. Gigi was very active in the Latvian community, teaching at Latvian school, choir member of the Song Festivals, belonged to the sorority Zintenieces, contributed to the monthly Literary Magazine Jauna Gaita. She also volunteered at the McMaster University Hospital. Gigi loved beauty, music, art and travel. Heartfelt thanks to the superb care from the entire team at St. Joseph's Hospital. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation and would be greatly appreciated. Private funeral. Memorial Mass and reception, Saturday, March 19th at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary's Cathedral, 146 Park Street North, Hamilton, Ontario.

Died suddenly on Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Extendicare Brampton, in her 90th year. Dear sister of Jean MUNRO, Jack and Doris AZIZ, Edward and Frances AZIZ and James and Frances AZIZ. Predeceased by her parents Gattas and Mamie AZIZ, sister Mary PEART, brothers Harold, George, Godfrey and Philip. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
