Passed away peacefully at Oshawa General Hospital on Sunday,
April 24, 2005 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Kay and predeceased
by his former wife June. Loving father of Craig (Debbie) and
June-Ellen (Robert)
ASELTON.
Step-father of Tammy, Michelle (Gerry,)
Sharon (Pat) and Cathy (Brian). Loving grandfather of Sean, Paul,
Colin, Jeffrey and Ryan. Step-grandfather of ten grandchildren
and six great-grandchildren. He is survived by sister-in-law
Mae BURLEY, cousin Fred (Evelyn)
DYER and nephew Chris (Debbie)
DYER and their children Crystal and Amanda. Predeceased by nephew
Mark. Craig was a Past Master of High Park Masonic Lodge (1976),
Past President of the Pipes and Drums Sahib Temple, and Past President
of the Toronto Press Club. The family will receive Friends at
the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering
Village) 905-428-8488, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and
on Tuesday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held
on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church (35 Church St. North, Ajax). Interment to take place at
Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on Thursday. Should family and Friends
so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart
and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
