At the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, on Wednesday, July 20th, 2005. Marion McDONALD, of Collingwood, and formerly of Thornbury, in her 87th year. Daughter of the late George H. and Lillie Ann (MATHESON) MacKAY. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack McDONALD, November 23rd, 1994. Also predeceased by her brother, Donald MacKAY, December 22nd, 1983, and remembered as a dear aunt by his family: Marlene and her husband Glenn CREVIER, of Collingwood, Gordon MacKAY, of Hanover, Marg, and her husband, Bill MacDOUGALL, of St. Joseph's, and Carol, and her husband, Harvey MARECHAL DE CARTERET, of Wyevale. Loved aunt also of Sheila ARSCOTT, of Toronto, Mary BENNETT, of Connecticut, and Ron MacEACHERN, of Hong Kong. Fondly remembered by several grand nieces and nephews and their families. Also remembered by Rod and Darlene TURNER, of Meaford. Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, February 24th, 2005 with her daughters by her side. Beloved wife of the late Charles Laman STEVENS. Ron was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Norman and Bernice (KELLER) JOHNSTON. Beloved husband of Gail (EASTCOTT) JOHNSTON. Loving father and father-in-law of Amy and Brian EVERAERT of Sombra. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Bob JOHNSTON of Saint Thomas, Sharron PINSONNEAULT, Brian and Joan JOHNSTON, all of Wallaceburg, Darrell and Tracy JOHNSTON of Edmonton, Dawn and Ken CRAWFORD of St. Catherines and Greg JOHNSTON also of Wallaceburg. Driver charged after man dies in crash

A 25-year-old Burlington man has been charged with impaired driving causing death after a car accident on Guelph Line in Burlington.
Richard ARSENAULT, 24, was thrown from a southbound, green 1997 Mazda when it left the road and rolled into a ditch.
The driver was partially ejected but flagged down a passing motorist.

She will also be greatly missed by her mother-in-law Jean AZULAY of Dunrobin, Ontario and all of Michael's brothers and sisters and their spouses - Kim, Karen, Gina MULVIE and John WATSON, Tracy▲ and Luigi PORCARI, Curtis and Elaine and Tara and Mark RIGLEY. Kate▲ also leaves 18 nieces and nephews. Kate was a tremendously positive force in every facet of life. She was passionate in love as a wife, as a mother and as a friend. She was incredibly beautiful, bright, strong-willed, witty, soft and warm. We are better people today, more complete, because Kate was an integral and an influential part of our lives. We will miss her terribly - we already do. During times of darkness, great light and support were provided by a tremendous network of Friends, neighbours, colleagues, everyone at Anthem and most importantly Kate's healthcare team. Special thanks to Doctors Stephanie LAFRAMBOISE, Ian QUIRT, Helen PYLE, Lynn BENJAMIN and to her palliative care nurse specialist Sharilee COX- ARSNEAULT. A private family service will be held in Kate's honour with a celebration of life to follow in the new year for many people whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, we respectfully request donations to Wellspring of Halton Peel or to the Canadian Cancer Society.

ARSTAD, Charles Davidson
Passed away, at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Thursday, September 1, 2005, in his 87th year; loved husband of Katherine; loving father of Bruce J. IRISH, Katherine JACONELLO, Douglas R. ARSTAD; grandfather of four. Charles will be sadly missed by his other relatives and Friends. A Memorial Visitation celebrating Charles' life will be held at the Dods and McNair Funeral Home and Chapel, 21 First Street, Orangeville, 519-941-1392, on Saturday, September 10, 2005 from 1: 00 to 3:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Legion would be appreciated.
