Passed away peacefully on May 26, 2005 at Saanich Peninsula Hospital
after a courageous battle with kidney and heart failure. Beloved
husband and best friend of Shirley (27 years), predeceased by
first wife Alice, loving father to David (Kim), Victoria, Susan
(Garett) ARLINGTON, Washington, Steven, London, England. Cherished
grandpa to Roshael, Mahlleace and Nateja. Predeceased by his
brother, Reverend Canon Arthur

Remembered by many nieces,
nephews and Friends. Stan led an interesting life, starting out
by stretching the truth about his age in order to become a young
air force pilot with the Royal Canadian Air Force, and later
became an Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officer. He then spent
34 years at Labatt Breweries, London, Ontario as a Brewing Department
supervisor. After taking early retirement, he moved to Vancouver
Island where he spent many years enjoying the beauty and wonders
of the west coast. He will always be remembered for his relentless
sense of humor, mischievousness and his deep religious faith.
He will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. A
celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, June 5 at 3: 00
p.m. at St. Michael and All Angels' Anglican Parish. 4733 West
Saanich Road, Victoria followed by refreshments at 401-4515 Pipeline
Road, Victoria (Royal Oak Area).
