At the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, June 17th, 2005. Joseph VAN BEERS of Ridgetown in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Nettie (BRENDERS) VAN BEERS and dearly loved father of Dan and his wife Cristy VAN BEERS, Mike and his wife Denise VAN BEERS, Steve and his wife Penni VAN BEERS, Patricia and her husband Doug LENSON, Richard and his wife Michele VAN BEERS, Tina and her husband Bill BERRY and Lisa and her husband Ron MERVIS. Dear brother of Henry and his wife Gerta VAN ARKEL, Adrian and his wife Nellie VAN ARKEL, Frank VAN BEERS, John and his wife Judy VAN BEERS, Ann and her husband Joe VAN DOOREN, Frances and her husband Martin VAN ASSELDONK, Nel and her husband Adrian DIEPSTRATEN, Mary and her husband Andy VAN LOON and Jane and her husband John DIEPSTRATEN. Joseph is also lovingly remembered by grandchildren Jackie, Randy, Sean, Nicole, Stephen, Denis Jackalynn, Jennifer, Kevin, Kiesa, Piers, Veronica and Billy and by a greatgrand_son Kevin. A Private Family Memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation to take place in London with interment of the ashes to be made at the Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham. Remembrances may be made through Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St. Saint Thomas to the Cancer Society or the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

Peacefully at Saint Marys Memorial Hospital on Saturday, July 9 2005 with her family at her side. Linda A.M. (GATECLIFFE) VAN ARKEL age 55 yrs. of Elizabeth Street, Saint Marys. Beloved wife of Evert VAN ARKEL. Loving mother of Peter VAN ARKEL and David VAN ARKEL both of Stratford. Proud grandmother of Chloe, Daniel and Madison. Dear sister of Bill and Phyllis GATECLIFFE of Saint Thomas. Dear sister-in-law of Ina COOK of Englehart, Neeltje (Nettie) VAN ARKEL of Stratford, Reine and Joyce VAN ARKEL of Saint Marys. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Richard (Dick) and Myrl GATECLIFFE, brothers Orval, Wilfred and James. Resting at the L.A. Ball Funeral Chapel, 7 Water St. N., Saint Marys on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at 2: 00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Richard BOTT officiating. It is with sadness and love that we inform you of Marion's passing on Saturday, June 4th, 2005 at the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound in her 72nd year. Marion left this world surrounded by the love of her family and Friends. Deeply loved mother of her three children, Allen (Suzin ARKSEY) of Chillawack, British Columbia, Brian (Ellen LANG) of Desboro, and Heather (Wayne SALERNE) of Wiarton. Greatly missed by her 7 grandchildren, Jeremy, Ethan, Adam, Keegan, Richelle, Chantel and Justin. Dearly remembered by her siblings, Clarence YOUNG (Margaret) of Owen Sound, Clara (Gordon HINTHER) of Calgary, Alberta, and Marjorie SMITH of Hanover and her many nieces and nephews. Marion will be fondly remembered and loved by her friend and traveling companion Harry MEEKINS of Owen Sound. Predeceased by her twin sister Muriel (1937), her father Joseph YOUNG (1955,) her mother Mary BAKER (1975,) her brother Alex (1996,) her sister Gladys MILLER (2004,) also her brother-in-laws, Les SEIFFERT (1987,) Sam SMITH (2001,) Herb MILLER (2002,) her sister-in-law Helen YOUNG (1998,) and her former husband Bert FARMER (2002.)
