Peacefully, at Country Lane Long Term Care in Chatsworth, on Sunday, December 25th, 2005. Blanche May McMILLAN (née ALLEN,) of Owen Sound, in her 85th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Arthur McMILLAN. Loving▼ mother of Harold McMILLAN and his wife, Marianne, of Kitchener; Carolyn McGIRR and her husband, Les Doug McMILLAN and his wife, Carol Ann; and Bonnie McKENZIE and her husband, Daniel, all of Owen Sound. Proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Blanche will be sadly missed by her sister, Grace VINCENT and her husband, Tom, of Allenford and her brother-in-law, William LAKE. Predeceased by her parents, Victor and Rita ALLEN; her infant son, Wayne McMILLAN; and her sister, Joy LAKE. Friends may call at the Brian E. Peacefully on Thursday, February 10th, 2005, with her family by her side, Betty passed away in her 74th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Wilf for 10 years. Devoted and caring mother of Rick (Pamela;) Ron (Wanda;) Karen (John SHOY;) David (Teresa) and Nancy (Jeff MAYNE.) Proud grandmother of Tami, Jim, Tracey, Austin, Travis, Carol Ann, Rodney, Katia, Jeremy, Trevor, Jessica, Cameron and Joshua and great-grandmother of 6. 'Special' grandmother of Stephanie and Chantel. Loving sister of Dorothy (Don BOWLES) and aunt of Glenys and Diane. Betty will be especially missed by her long time best friend, Freda McGIRR. Mr. Gerard " Jerry" Cyriel VYVEY a life long resident of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 16, 2005, in his 72nd year, surrounded by family after a long battle with diabetes. He was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Richard "Dick" and Adrienne (VLAMINCK) VYVEY. He was a member of the Holy Family Church and a member of the Moose Lodge in Wallaceburg. Jerry will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years Mathilda (née BOEL) VYVEY. Loving father and father-in-law of Tony VYVEY of Essex, Bob and Kathy VYVEY of Kingston and Michele and Ron GEORGE of North Bay. Dear grandfather of Tasha, Robert, Amanda, Alicia and Aaron and great grandfather of Stephanie and Jordan. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Yvonne and George BAERT of London and Joan VYVEY of Wallaceburg. Predeceased by his brothers Albert, Bob, Victor and a sister Jean. The late Jerry VYVEY rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street, in Wallaceburg, until Saturday, February 19, 2005, when the Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. from Holy Family Church, with Fr. Greg BONIN, Celebrant. Mr. Dennis MYERS presided at the organ. Pall Bearers were Ronald BOEL, Richard BOEL, Daniel BOEL, Robert VYVEY, John VYVEY, Robin BLENCOE and Honourary Bearer Mike McGIVERN. Parish prayers were offered at the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m. The Moose Lodge held a service Friday at 7: 30 p.m. Interment was in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Jerry VYVEY.

It is with regret that the family announces the peaceful passing of Barbara Jane at the North York General Hospital on December 22, 2004. Wife of the late Alex McGIVERN, Controller▼ North▼ York▼ (1963-1976). Loving mother of Bruce (Barbara), Barbara and Jim of Vancouver. Grandmother of Todd, Leanne and Tricia. Dear aunt of Peter and Susan JACKSON. The family gives special thanks to David PIXLEY, Gladys AZUCENA and the doctors and nurses of the Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Units of the North York General Hospital for their care and understanding. Jane was the first women President of Toronto Liberals, President of Toronto Women's Liberal Association, and an active member of the Tuesday Luncheon Club and active in numerous Liberal campaigns. Jane was the Campaign Manager for James E. WALKER, Federal Whip, Phil GIVENS Mayor of Toronto and worked on many campaigns. She had a long career supporting the Liberals and was a delegate at many of the leadership conventions including Lester B. Pearson and Pierre Elliot Trudeau. Jane ran her own successful real estate business until last year when she retired at the age of 83. She was also an active member of the Toronto Real Estate Board and President of the Real Estate Institute of Canada, Toronto Chapter. Acelebration of her life will be held on Wednesday January 5, 2005 from 5 - 8 p.m. at 44 Charles St. West 31st Floor Toronto. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Lung Association or the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Died peacefully, on March 20, 2005, at Loretto Infirmary. Sister was in her 71st year as a member of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Loretto Sisters). Daughter of the late Michael Peter McNAMARA and Marianne McGIVNEY. Survived by her cousins Mary WEINERT, Bruce WEINERT, Michael WEINERT, Brian WEINERT, John McGIVNEY (Sheila), Patricia McGIVNEY, Joan HAYNES (Tom), Evelyn REILLY (Austin), Reverend Victor McNAMARA, and Aileen MORRISON. Sister Mary Gerald had a long career as a teacher in Guelph, Stratford, Niagara Falls, Hamilton and Toronto.
