It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved mother. She passed away suddenly in her home, at the age of 86, in the company of her daughters, on December the 6th, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Andrew WOLOSZCZUK and survived by her five children, Andrea, Barbara, Michael, Stephan, and Yvonne, as well as by her six grandchildren, Steven, Kristofer, Christina, Julia, Sophia, and Stephanie. She will by greatly missed by all. Burial has taken place in Prospect Cemetery. Donations, if desired, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated. Passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, January 20, 2005, in her 66th year, with her family by her side. MaryLou was devoted to her husband Paul of 44 years, and her children Monica (Brad McCARTNEY), Paul (Maria), Michael (Dawn), Eric and Robert (Shawnalee). Proud and loving Oma to sixteen grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law Hans (Christl), Otto (Brigitte), Bernhard (Janet), and all of the nieces and nephews who have many fond memories of summers at the farm. Also, sadly missed by many Friends and relatives in Germany and Florida. Special thanks to Paula FORTIER for her tender loving care of our Mom. Passed away suddenly at his summer retreat and went into the presence of his Lord Jesus Christ on May 22nd, 2005, with his dear wife of 47 years at his side. John was a devoted husband to Christl, and loving father to his children Luise (Ted WOOD,) Tom (Trish), Carol (Rob McTAGGART), John (Patti), and Christine (Sherwin NICHOLSON.) Proud and loving Opa to his grandchildren Samantha, Lenny, Philip, Evan, Kaitlyn, Stephen, Laura, Allie, Luise, Marie, Matthew, Robbie, Grace, Thomas, Patrick, Emily, Brandon, and Melanie. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers Otto (Brigitte) and Bernhard (Janet) and brother-in-law Paul WOLSCHT. John is recently predeceased by his beloved sister Marlies. Also sadly missed by many Friends and relatives. Long time employee of the Toronto Transit Commission and GO Transit. Funeral service to be held at The Bridge - Markham Community Church, 5440 Sixteenth Avenue, Markham, at 11 a.m. on May 25th. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Lawyer, politician and magistrate born at Kingston, Ontario, on March 13, 1850. The son of Sir John A. MacDONALD, he studied law at the University of Toronto. He practised for a time in Ontario and served in the militia, reaching the Red River with the WOLSELEY expedition of 1870. In 1882, he moved to Winnipeg and set up a law partnership there with the son of Sir Charles TUPPER. In 1891, he entered politics, won a federal seat and was sworn in beside his father, then prime minister, to the applause of the House of Commons. In 1897, he was persuaded to take over the leadership of the Conservative party in Manitoba and became premier two years later. In 1900, after introducing prohibition, he returned to federal politics to run against Clifford SIFTON and lost. He returned to his law practise until appointed to the bench.

At home, in Beamsville, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on August 22, 2005. He is survived by his son Peter (Karen), daughters Lyn WOLSKE (Norm), Liz FISHER (Doug), Elaine PEPLOW (Jim BERRY) and Ruth GILMOUR (Dennis,) and step-daughter Sharon BOEHLER. Also by grandchildren Chris, Matt, Jon, Carla, Marianne, Jeffrey, Michelle, Zackery, John and Michael, and great-grandchildren Hunter, Brandon and Caleb. He will be especially missed by his extended family Islay and Mae RAWCLIFFE and buddy Muffin. Jack served overseas in the Canadian Grenadier Guards - 22nd Cdn. Armoured Regiment (Gracie) and was a member at various times of Royal Canadian Legions 612 and 614 and Lady Byng. He was a past President of Markham District Veterans' Association. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Vineland Chapel of the Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King Street, Vineland, on Friday, September 2nd at 11: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Donald STEVENSON, a resident of R.R. #1, Providence Bay, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Mindemoya, on Sunday, January 9, 2005. He was born in Guelph, son of the late John and Rose (WOLSKIE) STEVENSON. Donald had been a painter for 40 years. In his early years, he was a rodeo contestant, in bare back riding and bull riding. He was a very talented contestant, as evidenced by his being All-Canadian Champion in his sport. Donald is survived by his beloved wife Diane (ECKERT) STEVENSON, loved father of Connie (Alvin) SCHLAUCH of Moorefield, Kimberley (Pat) SCHLAUCH of Spring Bay and Danny (Cheryl) STEVENSON of Providence Bay. Proud grandfather of Deirdre, Samantha, Willy, Ricky, Sean, Bobbie-Lee, Michael and great granddaughter Kyla Lynn. Dear sister of La-Vivian WOLSTENHOLME and her husband Harry of Bowmanville and Marie HOLDEN and her husband Gary of Stoney Creek. Also survived by many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Born in Renfrew, August 14, 1935, daughter of the late A. Lawrence GAUTHIER and the late Marie (Jago) Gauthier NOLAN. She was a retired sales clerk at Kmart and a member of Saint Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Saint Thomas. Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, April 10, 2005 in her 82nd year. Cherished mother of Deborah and her husband Derek WOLSTENHOLME of Calgary, Alberta. Precedeased by her loving parents Harry and Ruth HAMILTON. Roz was a lifelong resident of St. Catharines, a graduate of the St. Catharines Collegiate, as well as a dedicated employee of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce for many years until her retirement, and a parishioner of St. George's Anglican Church. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. All who knew Roz are invited to attend her interment of cremated remains at Saint John's Cemetery in Port Dalhousie on Wednesday, April 13th at 2 p.m. Her love of animals has inspired her family to request donations to the Lincoln County Humane Society. It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of "Our Sweetie" Kathleen Beryl MEENDERING; née WAKE. " Oms" died peacefully in her home surrounded by family and Friends on Tuesday, June 7th, 2005. Born in Reading, England, in 1917, Beryl immigrated to Canada as a young child with her parents John and Ivy WAKE. She met and married Jan MEENDERING in Stratford where he was stationed with the Netherlands Army. Beryl was predeceased by her husband Jan and brother Austin WAKE. Mother to Jennifer and Tom BRIGGS of Bramalea, Jill MEENDERING- SMITH and Kevin SMITH, Saint Thomas. Laurel and Peter PUTNAM, Saint Thomas and Austin MEENDERING, London. Oma to Tara (Joshua), Krist in (Brad), Joe (Nicole), Jac, Sarah and Jess. Beloved sister to Bud, Helen and Velma. Also loved by all her nieces and nephews as well as family in the Netherlands and England. Treasured friend of Lily WOLTERBEEK. Beryl resided in Stratford, Bala and Saint Thomas. She was an active member of Saint John's Anglican and Knox Presbyterian Church. Most of all Beryl has left us with an admiration and wonderment of her love for all and her joy of life. Predeceased by a son, Timothy James, in 1992. Loving grandfather of Jessica, Jeremy, Esmé, Jaclyn, Emily, Rachel, Michael, Simone, Patrick, Rebecca, Charlotte and Zöe.
