Wife of the late Bill WAUGH, and loving mother of twins Christine ERMUTH (Fred ERMUTH,) and Gordon WAUGH (Heather McKELLAR). Beloved Nanny of Roger ERMUTH (Shannon), Michele SYKES (Ed,) and Pam ERMUTH. Loving Gran of Maggie WELT (Bruno,) Emily, Evelyn, and Andrea WAUGH. Great-grandmother of Nicole and Caitlin ERMUTH. Her love of life will be fondly remembered by her brother, Jim FARMER, and the entire Farmer family. We will never forget her passion for Cache Lake, her boundless love of Friends and family, and her amazing ability to see the good in everything. Burwell, Shirley WATTERS and husband Bill of Lyons, Robert SPRAGUE and wife Cindy of Linwood, Michigan and Rhonda ODANSKI of Aylmer. Loving grandmother to Todd, Sheri, Denise, Jeff, Kevin, Kyle, Jessica, Leah, Amy and 10 great grandchildren. Born in Colonsay, Saskatchewan on August 12, 1920, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Jane (PERCY) WELTER. Hazel was a hairdresser and worked for a number of years as a chef at the Central Hotel. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer for Public Visitation on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 11: 00 am. Dear father of Susan STOKES and her husband Mike of Ajax, Carolyn DENNIS of Lambeth, and Dennis PIKE of London. Survived also by his 2 brothers Conrad and Wilfried in Germany, and his sister Gisela in Switzerland. Predeceased by his sister Louise. Loved by his 12 grandchildren and by his greatgrandchildren. His never ending energy and vitality, youthful sense of humour, and love for art, his garden, his family, his printing company, and life in general, will be sadly missed by all who knew him. HARRISON, Katherine Elizabeth (WEBB)
A long-time resident of Kingsville, Harrow, Colchester and Amherstburg, for 88 of her 94 years, Katherine passed away in her sleep at the Village of Winston Park Retirement and Nursing home in Kitchener on March 2, 2005. She is predeceased by her husband Brian (1999), her sisters Margaret and Julia, her brothers Francis and Bradley, and her son Bill. Katherine will be sadly missed by her sister Dorothy BOTTERILL, her three children and their spouses: Bob and Bonnie (née EGAN) HARRISON of Port Hope, Denis and Deborah (née JENNER) HARRISON of Stratford (formerly of Windsor,) and Susan (née HARRISON) and Hugh MUNRO of Kitchener, as well as her many grandchildren and their spouses: Charlie and Lisa HARRISON, Kathryn HARRISON and Alan WILSON, Michelle HARRISON, Ryan HARRISON, Jordan and Martin ERASMUS, Blair HARRISON, Kale HARRISON, Jamie MUNRO and Jessie MUNRO, and her great-granddaughter Tristin WILSON. Katherine worked for many years as an administrative assistant for the Harrow Research Station, and then later for the Harrow Public School and for W.O.F.T.A. Her real passion, however, was being a wife, a mother and a grandmother. Katherine was a woman with tremendous energy, warmth and compassion who dedicated her life to caring for her family. In her later years, her love for life led her to travel and she and Brian explored many corners of the world. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her dignity, quiet strength and selflessness. Katherine's spirit, positive outlook, determination and love will live on. Many thanks to the staff of the Village of Winston Park Nursing Home and Robertson Brown Health Services as well as longtime family friend Bertha WELZEL for their tender care during her final days. A Memorial Service to honour Katherine's life will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. at the Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home, 197 King Street West, Harrow. 519-738-6662. At her home, on Wednesday, June 1, 2005, after another busy day with her family, Ellen VAN WELZEN (NUTKINS,) in her 58th year. Beloved wife of 35 years to Bill. Mom and best friend of Kelly and her husband Tom JOHNSTON (Saint Thomas.) Wonderfully cherished gomma to Brendan, Nicholas and Brooke. Daughter of Ruth and the late Lloyd NUTKINS. Dear sister of Carol LAMONTE, and Beth McKINLAY and her husband Bob. Predeceased by her sister Noreen WILLERT. Ellen's world revolved around her family and her London Knights. She was a devoted friend and houseparent to many players over the years too numerous to name but she loved them all.
