After a fifteen month battle, he succumbed to complications from pancreatic cancer. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Elena, his son Louis (Dana), his grand_sons Michael and Alexander, his older sister Anna, nephew Mario, niece Rosa, and their families of Udine, Italy. Joseph will be fondly remembered by all of his family and Friends in Canada and Italy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Dear son-in-law of Silvia and Karl WEIGELT of London and dear brother-in-law of Tanya WEIGELT of London and John and his wife Laurel WEIGELT of Ottawa and Sabine's grandmother Hilde GOHL of Germany. Team of St. Joseph's Health Care Centre. He enjoyed volleyball, camping, biking, sailing, wine making and the outdoors. Edith Marjorie HIGGINS of Watford, predeceased by husband Gordon in 1974, parents Alfred and Mary, brother Doug WEIGHT (Betty) and sisters Nora, Bessie and Esther. Also predeceased by nieces Marjorie, Audrey and nephew Earl. Survived by sons Doug (Sandra) HIGGINS, Wayne (Ginni) of Watford and daughter Arlene (Dennis) OSTROSSER of Edmonton, Alberta. Man dies after dive at Trout Lake Park

Woodstock -- A Kitchener man hurt in a diving accident at Trout Lake Park has died, the park's second water-related fatality in 10 days.
Patrick Darrell GRAY/GREY, 34, died yesterday at London Health Sciences Centre, police said.
The case has been turned over to a coroner in London, who was to perform an autopsy yesterday.
On Saturday, GRAY/GREY jumped from the highest diving board at the former quarry in Innerkip and struck another swimmer's knee with his head as he hit the water, Oxford Community police said.
GRAY/GREY had not waited for the area to clear before jumping, police said.
Former Woodstock resident James DRABICK, 22, died after jumping off the same, 6.5-metre diving board at the park on June 26.
Police can only appeal to the public's common sense to guard against such tragedies in the water, said Oxford Const. Bob McDONALD.
"It's impossible to legislate common sense," he said.
Swimming areas such as Trout Lake Park or the Pittock Conservation Area are private and a grey area when it comes to minimum safety standards, which are applied to supervised swimming areas, said Mike BRAGG, Oxford County director of public health and emergency services.
"It doesn't meet the definition of a public swimming area," he said.
This year is not the first time tragedy has struck at Trout Lake. There have been at least three other drownings at the park since Leonard Eugene WEILER drowned June 12, 1988, when he went swimming at the park after drinking and smoking hashish.
Two scuba divers died at the park during a winter dive.
The owners of the dive school were found negligent in that incident in 1991.
A Kitchener resident was injured at the park June 13, 1993, when he dived into the lake and struck some rocks.

LYNCH, Jennifer Elizabeth
Jenny died on April 7th, 2005, in Toronto, in her 37th year, after a hard-fought battle against depression. Words cannot begin to describe the loss and sorrow experienced by those whom she was forced to leave behind, especially her husband of thirteen years, Professor Todd WEILER (of Windsor, Ontario,) and her three "boys" (Elliott, Vincent and Henry). Cherished daughter of the late Denis Patrick LYNCH (December, 2003,) and Jane HOPKINS (Ottawa) sister to Heather LYNCH (Toronto;) Sean LYNCH (Ottawa;) and Chris LYNCH (Inglewood.) At Jennifer's request, cremation has taken place. Family and Friends may visit at Tubman Funeral Home, 403 Richmond Road, Ottawa (613) 722-6559 on Monday, April 11 from 7-9 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 11: 00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12th.

Of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, on Tuesday, June 28, 2005. She was 83. Survived by husband Hugh WEILER, daughters Wanda McISAAC (Dr. Gary) of Oakville, Gail WEILER (David TYRRELL) of Toronto, Robin WEILER (Jack KORPELA) of Toronto, son Dr. Peter (Lucia) WEILER of Toronto, grandchildren Sarah, Michael, Matthew, Mark, Liara, Madina, Austin, Christopher and Kathleen. Also survived by sisters Julie WEBB of Victoria, British Columbia and Annette CRISFIELD of Kelowna, British Columbia. Passed away peacefully, at the Humber River Regional Hospital - Church Site, on Thursday, December 29, 2005, in his 94th year. Beloved companion of Mary DREW and husband of the late Nell HOBBS, and Mildred ESSON. Much loved father of Gordon and his wife Ferol, William and the late Ruth Anne WEILER. Loving Grampa of Cheryl and Paul JOHNSTON, Lynn and Mike O'QUINN, Karen and Peter LUSTY, Robyn and Jason KINDLE, and Great Grampa of Kevin, Alexandra, Chris, Mathew, Jack, Emily-Anne and Ian CHILES.
