his lifetime, he was involved in various sports in the Pond Mills,
Glanworth and Belmont communities. Resting at Williams Funeral
Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where visitation will be held
on Friday, February 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with the funeral
service at 11: 00 a.m. on Saturday, February 12. In lieu of flowers,

Barbara passed away peacefully at "Village by the Station" Nursing
Home in Penticton, British Columbia, on June 22, 2005, in her
90th year. Predeceased by her loving partner Jim, her brother
Ted, and her sister Maude. Barbara will be fondly remembered
by Friends and family. There will be no funeral service. Cremation
has been arranged and interment will be in Penticton at a later
date.

Passed away on Monday, July 18, 2005 after a courageous battle
with cancer, at the Tom Baker Centre in Calgary, at the age of
50 years. Jane was born in Toronto, lived her teen years in the
Georgetown and Milton area, following which she ventured out
to live in Alberta. Jane is sadly missed by her husband Glenn
daughters Andrea and Amanda; canine family members Bear and Osita
step-daughters Shannon, Heather R., Brenda and Heather T.; and
5 step-grandchildren. Dearly loved sister of Anne, Michelle,
Barton, and predeceased by her brother Clifton and her parents

her dog. Betty was born in Connecticut, U.S.A. but spent most
of her life in Canada as a Canadian citizen. Throughout her life,
Betty was a teacher, avid bird watcher, a farmer, an artist and
most recently while living in Prince Edward County she became
part of the Black River Cheese company - a job she loved until
she had to leave due to her illness. Betty lived life true to
her passions for family, Friends and animals. She was generous,
funny and unfailingly tolerant. Without judgement she treated
everyone with warmth and good humor. This bright woman was gifted
with a lively curiosity about the natural world. She had an instinctive
bond with animals and a loving intuitive understanding of people.
Everyone who knew Betty learned from her honesty and courage.
We will all miss her deeply. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses
of the Palliative Care Unit at St. Michael's Hospital for their
kindness and care and her dear Friends Carla

of the late Isabelle for 45 years, World War 2 Veteran and former
Assistant General Manager of the Canadian National Exhibition.
Proud and committed father of Russell (Sue), Barbara (Jim), Peter
(Anne Marie), Martin (Terry), David (Jill), Robert (Michelle),
Martha (Kim), and 20 grandchildren. Brother of Dick and the late
Jim. Howard will always be remembered for his sense of humour,
love of life, courage, determination and commitment to his family,
