Mrs. Anna Hain a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at C.K.H.A. "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the age of 86. Anna was born in Mohacich, Hungary and was a daughter of the late Peter and Veronica (SCHWARTZKOPF) STILLER. She had resided in the Wallaceburg area for the past 47 years. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Wallaceburg. Beloved wife of Paul HAIN and the late Bela TREBICS (1978.) Dear mother and mother-in-law of Bela "Bill" and Debra TREBICS of Wallaceburg, Jeno TREBICS of Wallaceburg and Theresa and Gusztav OMLOSI of Hungary. Dear step-mother of: Inge MYERS, Edith SCHOPF, Norbert HAIN, Veronica HALL, Joe TURBUCZ Jr., Irene RUSSELL and Liz KITZLER. Sadly missed by 15 grandchildren, many step grandchildren and many great grandchildren. The late Anna HAIN rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street, Wallaceburg until Friday, May 6, 2005 when the funeral mass was held from Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10: 30 a.m. with Fr. Greg BONIN, Celebrant. Mrs. Fran FRALEIGH presided at the organ. The church choir sang the mass. The pall was placed on the casket by her two sons. Pall bearers were: Jim HALL, Mike HALL, Tony DUPCIK, Shawn RUSTEAU, James CADOTTE and Bob BROWN. Interment was in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. It is with deep sadness that the family of Dora Eileen STILLWELL announces her passing. She died at the age of 87, in the Smiths Falls Hospital, Ontario, on December 13, 2005. Dora was predeceased by her husband, Harry, in 1996, and was a loving Mother, Grandma, Nannie and Great Grandma to her daughters Pamela (Rollie) and Gillian (Robert) and son, Richard (Elaine); her grandchildren: Caroline (Rene), Joanne (Pat), Barbara (Stephen), Simon, Brenna (Devin), Emily and Peter, and her great-grandchildren, Cody, Aidan and Kale. Dora was feisty and funny almost to the end, and she will be greatly missed. Her remains will be returned to the United Kingdom in the spring for interment with those of her husband.

Loving grandmother of Jeffrey GRAY/GREY (Stacey), Kathleen (Timothy MURRAY), Steven GRAY/GREY and Kyla MILNE. Loving great-grandmother of Lacie, Stephanie, Bryce, Justin, Hailey, Jared, Courtney and Braden. Fanny was born on October 15, 1906 in Motherwell, Scotland. Fanny immigrated to Canada and lived in the towns of St. Lambert, Trois-Rivières and Mount Royal in Quebec and Oakville and Renfrew in Ontario. Cremation has taken place. Age 86, passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge, Stratford on Tuesday, December 20, 2005. Jerry was born in Huissen, Holland July 17, 1919, a son of the late Joseph and Antje STINNISSEN. On July 10, 1952 he married Dorothy and the couple came to Canada. They resided in Zurich for 6 years, Goderich for 40 years, moving to Stratford in 2000. While in Goderich he was employed with Goderich Manufacturing as a superintendent and later with Dominion Roads until his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Stratford. Jerry had a passion for growing fruit and vegetables and took great pride in his grandchildren. Beloved husband for 53 years of Dorothy. Loving father and grandfather of Andy and his wife Aleida, and their children Sarah, Mike, Eric and Amanda, Stratford; Tony and his wife Roxanne, and their children Kaleigh, Connell and Caibre, Edmonton; Marcel of Los Angeles; Lucy and her husband Don GILDERS, and their children Lauren and Alannah, Delaware; Ged and his wife Joanne and their daughter Holli, Waterford. Fifty-five years ago, 350 members of the 2nd Regiment, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, were en route to Fort Lewis, Washington., and thence to the Korean War when their troop train collided with an eastbound passenger express near Canoe River, British Columbia Twelve soldiers were killed instantly, four died aboard the rescue train, and one died in hospital. They were Arden ATCHISON (Loon Lake, Saskatchewan.), Weldon BARKHOUSE (Wolfville, Nova Scotia), Norman CARROLL (Pennant, Saskatchewan.), Frederick CONWAY (Grand Falls, Newfoundland.), Robert CRAIG (Foam Lake, Saskatchewan.), Austin GEORGE (Eight Island Lake, Newfoundland.), Urbain LÉVESQUE (Ottawa), Robert MANLEY (Niagara Falls, Ontario), Basil McKEOWN (Moscow, Ontario), Albert ORR (Calgary), David OWENS (Granby, Quebec), Leslie SNOW (Saint John's), Albert STROUD (Howley, Newfoundland.), Joseph THISTLE (Conception Bay, Newfoundland.), James WENKERT (Cowansville, Quebec), James WHITE/WHYTE (Placentia Bay, Newfoundland.) and William WRIGHT (Neepawa, Manitoba.) The footplate crews of both locomotives also died. They were Harvey CHURCH, troop-train engineer; his fireman, Henry PROSINUK; Jack STINSON, transcontinental engineer; his fireman, Adam OLESCHUK.

Passed away in Ottawa on December 20, 2005. Dear husband of Jane GOODCHILD. Loving father of David SCOTT (Laura CUPPER) Carleton Place, Sandie STINSON (Allan) North Bay, Brian SCOTT (Evelyn VON MICHALOFSKI) Belleville and Glen SCOTT (Kim ROSENTRETER) Calgary. Proud grandfather of Katie and Margaret SCOTT; Carrie, Scott, Julie and Travis STINSON; Olive SCOTT; Joelle, Jeremy and Benjamin SCOTT. Special grandfather of Reyna URIARTE. Born in Picton, Ontario, May 24, 1926. son of the late Ella Mae BONGARD and Wilfred Ernest SCOTT. Predeceased by his brother and friend Sherman. Engineer, banker, fisherman, clarinettist and book editor. Eric graduated as a Civil Engineer from the University of Toronto in 1949. During his career he worked for Canadian International Paper, Canadian Industries Limited, The Engineering Institute of Canada and 25 years with the Industrial Development Bank, later to be the Federal Business Development Bank. He cherished the many Friendships across Canada from those years. Warant Officer 1st class 428 Squadron Royal Canadian Air Force 1941-1945 European Campaign. Beloved husband of Thelma STINSON, previously deceased and Harriett Pauline COUSINEAU, wife of 27 years, recently deceased. Loving father of Theresa DOUGLAS/DOUGLASS, Kathleen SNOWDY (Ed,) and Mary BURNS. Grandfather of Randy DOUGLAS/DOUGLASS (Joanna,) Robert SNOWDY, Lisa BURNS, Paul SNOWDY (Sue), Michele MALARZ (Stan) and Karen Anne BURNS (Brent.) Great-grandfather to Kyle, Rachel, Emma, Samantha, Michael, Andrew, Bradley, Emily and Abbey. Predeceased by sisters Therese BROWNLIE, Lily GARANT, and Lucy "Lou" TAILOR/TAYLOR. Survived by brother Leo COUSINEAU and sister Bernice WITTENSHEIM. Tom proudly served his country as Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Air Force and was a prisoner of war for 22 months at Stalag IV B in Germany. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was rendered a Knight in the 4th Degree. He will be greatly missed by family, Friends and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Michael's Church (corner of Division St. and University Ave.), Cobourg on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 10: 30 a.m. Interment Saint Mary's Cemetery, Grafton.
