MURRAY peacefully
passed away on February 1, 2005 at University Hospital, London.
She was surrounded by the love of her family and wrapped in the
warmth of her comfort quilt. Donna was a vibrant and caring woman
who was active in her church, Burns Mooreline United. She was
a long standing member of the U.C.W. and a church elder. She
will be greatly missed by her family and many Friends. Her spirit
will continue to shine in all who knew her. She is survived by
her devoted husband of 48 years Harry, children Mike and Linda,
Allan and Diane, Randy and Debbie, Carrie and Scott

Grace was a Registered Nurse, having graduated from the Stratford
General Hospital School of Nursing in 1928. She continued her
profession for a number of years in Stratford before moving to
live with her family in Mitchell for 25 years. She then moved
to Goderich where she nursed at the Alexandra Marine Hospital
and later retired to Wingham for about 37 years. While in Wingham,
Grace was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church where
she was a faithful longtime worker with the Women's Missionary
Society. She has resided at the Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell
for the last five years. There will be no funeral home visitation.
A celebration of Grace's life will take place with a public memorial
service at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal Street, Mitchell
at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations
can be made to the Mitchell Area Mobility Bus or the charity

Bruce was a radio
officer with the British Merchant Marine in World War 2, and
saw service in the convoys at the height of the Battle of the
Atlantic, in the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean and the Red
Sea. He was a 35 year employee and, after his retirement in 1983,
a proud annuitant of Imperial Oil in Sarnia. Bruce sang in the
Central United Church Choir for 50 years, retiring in 1997. He
was a member of Liberty Lodge # 419 Ancient, Free and Accepted
Masons, Huron Lodge # 392 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons,
Wawanosh Chapter # 15 Royal Arch Masons, St. Simon Cyrene Preceptory
# 37, and Mocha Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. He was also a member of the
Royal Canadian Legion Br. 176, Forest. Visitation at the McKenzie
& Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N.

He was a gifted musician and played in various Jazz bands in
his younger days. He eventually moved to the Bruce Penninsula
where he owned and operated Colonel Clarkes Tavern at Clarke's
Corners for many years. He sold the business and retired to Wardsville
in 1986 where he met his wife Laurene and enjoyed many years
of gardening, golfing, wintering in Texas and playing his beloved
piano. His quick wit and sense of humour will be missed by all
who knew him. Beloved husband of the late Laurene (2004). Loving

On Wednesday morning, March 2nd, 2005, Ms. Marion Cathie
MacTAGGART
quietly passed away at the age of 90. Ms.
MacTAGGART, an accomplished
woman of her day, spent her final months in the Weatherbe Pavillion,
a part of Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, British Columbia.
She will be sorely missed by her extended family and many Friends.
Marion MacTAGGART was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 26,
1914 and attended the University of Manitoba graduating with
a B.A., Summa Cum Laude, in 1934. Subsequently, while performing
secretarial duties with a Chartered Accounting firm, she undertook
accountancy training and became the first Manitoba woman to win
the prestigious War Memorial Gold Medal for obtaining the highest
marks in the final examinations. It took a further 34 years before
another female won the Medal. Marion also became the first female
member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba.
With her new professional designation in hand, she took up employment
with the Manitoba Government, raising to the position of Provincial
Chief Auditor. Marion retired from the Manitoba Civil Service
in 1976, and ten years later moved to White Rock, British Columbia
to be near her older sister Jean
STEELE.

Rock, British Columbia. In her life, she was an excellent canoeist,
an noted equestrian, a weekend golfer, a world traveller, a lawn
bowler and was known as a brilliant bridge and canasta player.

on June 6, 1916 in Montreal. He served in the Canadian Army Reserve
and the Royal Canadian Navy during World War 2. Gray started
in the family business in 1932 and with the support of many,
expanded the business into St. Lawrence Foods Corporation until
he sold the business in 1989. He served the business community
extensively as: President of the Fish and Seafood Association
of Ontario, President of Canadian Frozen Food Association, Chairman
of the Fisheries Council of Canada, and Honourary Life Member
of the Toronto Board of Trade after fifty years of membership.
Gray received the Queen's Jubilee Medal in 1977 and was recognized
by 'Friends of We Care' with the Humanitarian Award in 1989.
He was active in the community, including: Cubs and Scouts, Kew
Beach United Church, Toronto East Young Men's Christian Association,
Chairman of the Board of the Toronto East General Hospital (1976-1982),
longstanding member of the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation
and a member of the Toronto Downtown Rotary Club (Paul Harris
Fellowship Recipient). Gray and Betty's most enjoyable memories
were times spent with the family at their Fallingbrook home and
the Bigwin Island cottage. Gray loved walking the boardwalk,
meeting new people and facing new challenges. He had numerous
Friends in every aspect of his life and he will be missed by
many. The family would like to thank the staff at the C.V.I.C.U.
at Sunnybrook and Women's College Hospital for their professional
and compassionate care following heart surgery on May 5, 2005,
and also to those at the Toronto East General Hospital for their
previous caring treatment and attention. A memorial visitation
will be held on Monday May 30 from 6-8: 30 p.m. at the 'Scarborough
Chapel' of McDougall and Brown, 2900 Kingston Rd. (east of St.

a founding member of the Military Re-enactment Society of Canada

from the 1812 period as well as travel, reading and lively debate
and discussion. He will be sadly missed by his countless Friends,

Gray▲ was born
on June 6, 1916 in Montreal. He served in the Canadian Army Reserve
and the Royal Canadian Navy during World War 2. Gray started
in the family business in 1932 and with the support of many,
grew the business into St. Lawrence Foods Corporation until he
sold the business in 1989. He served the business community extensively
as: President of the Fish and Seafood Association of Ontario,
President of Canadian Frozen Food Association, Chairman of the
Fisheries Council of Canada, and Honorary Life Member of the
Toronto Board of Trade after fifty years of membership. Gray
received the Queen's Jubilee Medal in 1977 and was recognized
by "Friends of We Care" with the Humanitarian Award in 1989.
He was active in the community, including: Cubs and Scouts, Kew
Beach United Church, Toronto East Young Men's Christian Association,
Chairman of the Board of the Toronto East General Hospital (1976-1982),
longstanding member of the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation
and a member of the Toronto Downtown Rotary Club (Paul Harris
Fellowship Recipient). Gray and Betty's most enjoyable memories
were times spent with the family at their Fallingbrook home and
the Bigwin Island cottage. Gray loved walking the boardwalk,
meeting new people and facing new challenges. He had numerous
Friends in every aspect of his life and he will be missed by
many. The family would like to thank the staff at the C.V.I.C.U.
at Sunnybrook and Women's College Hospital for their professional
and compassionate care following heart surgery on May 5, 2005,
and also to those at the Toronto East General Hospital for their
previous caring treatment and attention. A memorial visitation
will be held on Monday, May 30 from 6-8: 30 p.m. at the "Scarborough
Chapel" of McDougall and Brown, 2900 Kingston Rd. (east of St.
Clair Ave. E.). A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday,
May 31 at Kew Beach United Church, 140 Wineva Ave., Toronto (just
north of Queen St.) at 10: 30 a.m. The church will be open from
9: 30 a.m. until the time of service. Parking is limited. Reception
after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate
donations to a charity of your choice.

In his 92nd year, on Thursday, August 18, 2005, Jack died suddenly
at Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville. He is survived
by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth, his daughters, Candace (David
STEELE) and Jennifer (Bob
GRAY/GREY,) and his much loved grand_sons,
Robin and Nick Steele and Drew Gray. Jack lived a creative and
rewarding life, drawing on his experiences in the Royal Canadian
Air Force, the Ontario Department of Corrections, as an elementary
and secondary principal in the Etobicoke system, and especially
in his over fifty year association with the Taylor Statten Camps
in Algonquin Park. Mourn ye not for my departure, Mourn ye not,
I go upon a journey... My journey is eternal. A celebration of
his life will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Dods and Mcnair
Funeral Home and Chapel, 21 First Street, Orangeville (519-941-1392),
