POWELL
(née SINNETT) in her 83rd year at the Houses of Providence in
Toronto, on December 24, 2005. Born in Gaspe, Quebec and a long
time resident of Kingston, Ontario, Margaret was predeceased
by her loving husband Frank William (Bill), in 1984. They met
in Gaspe during the Second World War and after their wedding
in 1945, spent some twenty years raising their young family on
armed forces bases across Canada and making many wonderful Friends
along the way. Margaret spent her last five years in Toronto
close to her grateful family, including daughter Judy, and son
in law Michael, and granddaughters Hilary and Natalie; also daughter
Susan, and son in law Rodney, and granddaughters Kristin and
Lauren. She will also be sadly missed by son Brian, and daughter
in law Myra, and granddaughters Erin and Laura Lee of Saskatoon.
Also left behind are son Richard and his family. Predeceased
by her brothers Albert and Lewis, Margaret is also lovingly remembered
by her sister Mary Bond, and many nieces and nephews. A wonderful
mother and special friend and favourite aunt to many, we celebrate
her life and always remember her generous and fun-loving spirit.
We are especially thankful for the extraordinary care provided
