2 Veteran, serving overseas with The Royal Canadian Air Force
419 and 429 Squadrons. Arnold was a loving and generous man and
always had a smile or was willing to lend a helping hand to his
neighbours, Friends and family. A service is to be held in Parksville,
British Columbia, Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Parksville
Funeral Home. There will also be a memorial held in Brampton,

peacefully and surrounded by love at home in Ottawa on 16 February
2005. She lived for many years in Sudbury where she raised her
family and was very active in the Ukrainian community. Helen
was extremely proud of her Ukrainian heritage; an accomplished
singer, she was a regular soloist in the Dnipro choir, recorded
Ukrainian folk songs and performed many concerts in the area.
Her love of music and life was passed on to her children and
grandchildren, many of whom have been attracted to the world
of the arts. Helen was predeceased by the love of her life, Mike,
and is survived by siblings Annie
MacLEAN of Sudbury and Alec
DEBRIE of Bracebridge. Helen leaves daughters Doreen, Mareka,
and Joanne and husband Fred, and her son Dennis and wife Lyn,
grandchildren Ivan, Mareka, Larissa, Andreka, Michael, Jason,
Steven and Lesia, great-grandchildren Adrian, Dorien, Andrea,
Jacob and Semara, and many nieces and nephews. Helen was beloved
by them all, and she will be very deeply missed. The family is
indebted to the Victorian Order of Nurses, Ottawa-Carleton chapter
and the Community Nursing Registry of Ottawa for their wonderfully
supportive home care, coupled with the warmth and obvious affection
they held for her, which contributed immeasurably to Helen's
comfort and well-being during the past several months. Special

Hill. Mr. MITCHELL will be resting in the Church 1 hour prior

Passed away after a lengthy illness on December 18th, 2005 in
her 101st year. Predeceased by her husband Jackie, son Bill,
grand_son Michael and brothers-in-law Henry and Errol
SHERMAN.
Loving mother to Al, Berna (husband Myron) and Hazel. Will be
deeply missed by her grandchildren Burton, Aubrey, and Allan
