Marjorie Anne PATRICK (née LAMBOURN,) of London West Ontario, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 20, 2005 in her 76th year. Anne was a life long (37 years) Bell Canada employee (traffic analyst), member of the Bell Pioneers Association, and life member of St. George's Anglican Parish, Wharncliffe Road, London. Loving daughter of James and Annie (McMURPHY) LAMBOURN. Predeceased by brother Richard James LAMBOURN and wife Gilbert and dear sister Betty Elie. Aunt Anne is survived by her beloved pet cat Pip, her brothers George A. LAMBOURN (London) and Ross John LAMBOURN (Brampton) and brother-in-law Marcel ELIE (Burlington,) sisters-in-law Irene LAMBOURN and Irma LAMBOURN, nieces Jane LAMBOURN- MILLER and husband Joseph MILLER and Julie Anne (J.A.) BASKETTE and husband John BASKETTE, of London and nephew James ELIE and wife Susan of Burlington, Ontario. Anne was a great-aunt to Michael Patrick Lambourn MILLER, Gibson Frazer George MILLER, of London, and Mark, Nicole and Katherine ELIE, of Burlington, Ontario.
Anne will be remembered as a Trillium Award Winner, Heritage Home owner, avid gardener (Tour of Homes, 197) Fanshawe College Alumna and world traveller. Anne was a dedicated member of the Progressive Conservative Party. Anne will be sorely missed by dear family and Friends, especially her niece, companion and God Daughter, Julie Anne, along with Shirley (Fraleigh) CARSON, Nettie SHARPE, and June ECKHART. Anne▲ and her family wish to thank the kind efforts of the attending London Police officers, fire department and neighbours, particularly Eric HOLT and nephew, Brian. The children of Charlotte May (McANINCH) SHARPE, Marion (Lyle) DENSTEDT, Marilyn (Dennis) GIROUX and Dr. John (Valerie) SHARPE are saddened to announce her passing at Saint Mary's Hospital, London on August 24, 2005. In 1975, Charlotte was predeceased by her loving husband Dr. George SHARPE, longtime friend and veterinarian to farmers in the Milverton area. Charlotte was the the eldest in a family of eight, born in 1913 to Eliza and John McANINCH of Guelph Township. She is survived by her only sister Grace McANINCH (Norman ARGUE) and 4 sisters-in-law. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren whom she adored, each of them adding a special dimension of joy to her life in their own way.
A resident of Milverton for over sixty year, Charlotte took a keen and active interest in community affairs. Charlotte was a member of Christ Church Anglican and served as choir director and warden for many years. After moving to London, she continued to work as a member and faithful servant at St. Luke's Church. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton will take place at 1: 00 p.m. on Saturday September 17, 2005 followed at 2: 00 p.m. by a service to honour the life of Charlotte SHARPE. Passed away January 26th, 2005 at Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre (Veteran's Wing), Toronto at the age of 88. Born in Chatham, Ontario on June 11th, 1916, the son of Russell Stanley and Alice Maude (STEVENS) MERIFIELD. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Helen (KYDD;) his children, Russell, Elizabeth (Dario GALINDO) and Thomas (Linda;) his grandchildren, Marion and Simon; his sister, Jeanne (Robin) BECK; his sister-in-law, Betty SHARPE; and many nieces and nephews. Graduate of McGill University B.A. (1938) and B.C.L. (1941), where he was President of the Student Society and played on the 1938 Championship Rugby Team. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War 2, Lieutenant, Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve. He initially practiced private law in Montreal, then worked at Shawinigan Water and Power Company. He was Vice President and Secretary of the Royal Trust Company of Canada. In 1967, he moved to Toronto as Vice President and General Manager of Victoria and Grey Trust Company until his retirement. He later spent many years serving as the Secretary/ Treasurer of The Canadian Club (Toronto). Active member of the Glenview Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Church of Canada (as Elder, Treasurer, member of the Building Society and director of the Canadian Bible Society); and the Chartered Institute of Secretaries; a teacher of corporate law and a governor of Sir George Williams University. Author of several books, including Canadian Secretarial Practice, 'From Country Trust to National Trust' (a history of the National Trust Company), a history of the Canadian Clubs, and 'Who Said That?' (a compilation of Empire Club speeches). Member of the Donalda Club (Toronto) and the Hermitage Club (Magog, Quebec). He was also a musician and long-time volunteer pianist for the veterans at Sunnybrook Hospital. Passed away peacefully March 3, 2005 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Penza, Russia, he was a son of the late Ivan and Anna (ORLASAKINA) SHESTOPALOFF. He immigrated to Canada as a young boy. Walter was a very well respected geological surveyor who traveled the world doing work for various companies. He was recognized for his contributions to mining in New Brunswick at CIM Geological Conference in Bathurst, New Brunswick in 1993. He is survived by sister, Galena BERGOT, Vancouver, British Columbia daughters, Cathy (Ian) SCOTT, Truro; Mary (Brian) CHISHOLM, Alton sons, Michael (Catherine), Moncton, New Brunswick; Vincent, Inuvik, Northwest Territories; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren nephews, Norman and Alan of Toronto; John and Michael of Vancouver niece, Diane, Toronto and close friend, Patricia PEZZE, Toronto. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (McCABE;) son, David brother, Edward. He enjoyed life and lived it with humor, curiosity and enthusiasm. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. Died peacefully in her 81st year in Brevard, North Carolina on Friday April 15, 2005. Survived by her loving husband Thomas McGOHEY of Brevard. Dear sister of John FORBES of Trenton, Ontario, devoted daughter of the late Elizabeth FORBES. Predeceased by her first love, husband Ted DUNAL. Friends and family fondly remember this charming redhead's enchanting laugh.
Pam was well known for her fashion sense, classy style and love of dancing. An avid traveller, she was drawn toward the music and culture of the Caribbean. Born in Bristol, England, Pam came to Canada as a teenager. Few knew that she was an accomplished artist.
Pam loved her work and flourished in her career as executive secretary to Charles JENNINGS, vice-president of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Pam was a great sportswoman embracing Canadian winters snowshoeing and skiing. She excelled in fly fishing and her passion for tennis continued well into her 70's.
Pam will be deeply missed by her niece and nephews, whom she loved dearly, Madeline SHARPE, Louis, Marc, Ian and Andrew FORBES and their families and by her stepchildren and their spouses, D'Arcy and Lynda DUNAL and Kevin and Marina DUNAL.

Born in Chatham, Ontario on June 11th, 1916, the son of Russell Stanley and Alice Maude (STEVENS) MERIFIELD. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Helen (KYDD) his children, Russell, Elizabeth (Dario GALINDO) and Thomas (Linda) his grandchildren, Marion and Simon; his sister, Jeanne (Robin) BECK; his sister-in-law, Betty SHARPE; and many nieces and nephews. Graduate of McGill University B.A. (1938) and B.C.L. (1941), where he was President of the Student Society and played on the 1938 Championship Rugby Team. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War 2, Lieutenant, Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve. He initially practised private law in Montreal, then worked at Shawinigan Water and Power Company. He was Vice-President and Secretary of the Royal Trust Company of Canada. In 1967, he moved to Toronto as Vice-President and General Manager of Victoria and Grey Trust Company until his retirement. He later spent many years serving as the Secretary/Treasurer of The Canadian Club (Toronto). Active member of the Glenview Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Church of Canada (as Elder, Treasurer, member of the Building Society and Director of the Canadian Bible Society) and the Chartered Institute of Secretaries; a teacher of corporate law; and a Governor of Sir George Williams University. Author of several books, including Canadian Secretarial Practice, "From Country Trust to National Trust" (a history of the National Trust Company), a history of the Canadian Clubs, and "Who Said That?" (a compilation of Empire Club speeches). Member of the Donalda Club (Toronto) and the Hermitage Club (Magog, Quebec). He was also a musician and long-time volunteer pianist for the veterans at Sunnybrook Hospital. Passed away in Vancouver, on April 30, 2005. Born in Elgin, Manitoba, on August 4, 1915, Norm graduated from the U. of Saskatchewan. '36 with an Honours Degree in Mathematics, completed a one year teaching fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, and completed his M.A. in Mathematics at U. of T. Norm taught at Upper Canada College for 21 years, continued within the Etobicoke Board of Education, and was recipient of numerous awards including the Descartes Medal from Waterloo University. Norm co-authored and consulted on mathematics texts as well as serving as President of the Ontario Mathematics Commission. Norm served the community as a past president of the Metro Toronto Hockey League, Past Master of the Huron Bruce Masonic Lodge, and Past Chairman of the Council for Deer Park United Church. Norm was predeceased by Helen, his wife of 60 years, and sons Matthew and Jimmy, and will be missed by his daughter Margaret HARMAN, grandchildren Scott and Jennifer, and great-grandchildren Alex, Jordie, Marley and Zakkery, as well as Jim, Andrew, Amanda, sisters Irene DEER, Phyl HOOK, Pat SHARPE, and his brother Mike SHARP.
