Passed away suddenly at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge on her 45th birthday, February 28, 2005. (Born February 29, 1960). Beloved daughter of Dorothy and the late Lewis SCOTT, Severn Bridge. Dear sister of Donna (and Brian STEVENSON,) Gravenhurst Lori (and Michael PORTER,) Newmarket; Allan (and Robina SCOULAR,) Victoria, B.C. and Shelley (and Allan JONGE,) Baysville. Loving aunt of Morgan, Jeffrey and Jordan, Iain, Ryan and Emily. Also missed by Meaghan, Katie, Kyle, Kourtney and Kaitlin. ROGERS, Harold Edward
Age 91, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at the Q.E. II, Halifax Infirmary. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (MacINNIS) ROGERS. He worked for the Dominion Coal Company, Glace Bay until 1941. He was an Royal Canadian Air Force Veteran of World War 2 and served with 428 Ghost Squadron, as tail gunner in Lancaster Bombers, completing 28 missions. After completing his service in the Royal Canadian Air Force, Harold worked for many years with the Ministry of Environment in Ontario until his retirement. Harold is survived by his daughters Mary (Andrew) of Toronto, Carol (Hayward) of Halifax. His pride and joy were his three granddaughters Lauren, Jennifer and Sarah; sisters Geraldine, Mary, Priscillia; brothers Tommy and Angus; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (CROMPTON) in 1991; sisters Dorothy, Bridget, Camilla and brother William. A Funeral Mass to celebrate his life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2005 in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lakeside. Burial at a later date. His humour, charm and kind heart will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia Special thanks to Dr. SCOVIL; staff of 8.1 at the Halifax Infirmary and Roma Kennedy for all their special care and attention. After a short illness with Leukemia at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 in his 71st year. Beloved son of Violet and the late Walter LOVELOCK. Loving husband of June and father of Mitch and spouse Francyne, Kelly and spouse Jeff SCOWEN, Doug and spouse Kim. Fun loving and devoted grandpa of Brittany, Nolan and Aidan. Bill will be greatly missed by his sister Joan OGBORNE and her late husband Lloyd, and his brother Jack LOVELOCK and his wife Betty. Dear brother-in-law of Joyce and Ross PACKER, Kevin and Marilyn O'NEILL, Gloria and Dave ALLARDYCE. Special uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews and he will be sadly missed by so many Friends. Cremation has taken place. Hazel Gertrude of Blenheim passed away on Saturday March 19, 2005 at the Chatham - Kent Health Alliance. Born in Harwich Township 92 years ago daughter of late Byron PARKER and Jennie SCOYNE. Her husband Vernal G. TANNER died in 1965. Hazel is the dear mother of Lyn DELONG and her husband Gord of Blenheim; John TANNER and his wife Donna of Waterloo; Loving grandmother and great-grandmother to Karrie ROY and Rick WILSON. Chatham; Dave ROY and Michelle (Austin, Caelan) of Pain Court; Cindy and Shane SYKES, Merlin Tracy TANNER, Waterloo; Terri and Young ROBINSON; Tammy TANNER (Kayla.)
