Mary Liz was born in Sarnia, 60 years ago on May 13, 1944, daughter
of the late Mary Elizabeth and Arnold
McLELLAN.
She graduated
from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in 1967, moving
to Chatham in 1968 after her marriage to Arnold. She nursed at
both St. Joseph's and Public General Hospitals, and then for
8 years with Dr. Brian
GAMBLE as his office nurse. After completing
her diploma in Public Health Nursing, she touched the lives of
many people while working for 16 years as a Case Manager with
Community Care Access Centre. Mary Liz enjoyed volunteering her
time as a Eucharistic Minister with Blessed Sacrament Church
in addition to the time she devoted to the Alzheimer Society,
the Canadian Cancer Society, Cancer Relay for Life, and as a
member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Chatham-Kent
Women's Centre. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her will
understand that she approached all aspects of life with joy,
laughter and love. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral
Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday 7: 00-9:00 p.m
and Friday 2: 00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the

The family is saddened to announce the peaceful passage of Frederick
Joseph HODGE on Friday, March 4, 2005, in his 94th year, from
Southlake Hospital in Newmarket. Born on November 28, 1910 in
Buffalo,
New
York, he and his mother, Margaret Buckley
HODGE,
and two sisters, Hazel and Mildred, moved to Mt. Forest, Ontario
in 1912. He attended Toronto Normal School in 1929 and taught
at Saint Mary's School in Mt. Forest, St. Jerome's College and
Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate where he taught English, French,
and Business before becoming a provincial school inspector. He
served York County Separate Schools as its first Director of
Education and retired in 1975. Thereafter he became a part of
a winter community in Ft. Pierce, Florida, and lived with his
daughter, Margaret, and her husband, Donald
SCHWAB, during the
summers with many excursions to the family cottage on Go Home
Lake. His death was preceded by a short illness. His beloved
wife, Mary Adeline (Marie)

Bob spent 50 successful, rewarding years in a business he knew
so well, Forwell Sand and Gravel and Forwell Materials Inc. He
sold his interest in the Construction Materials business in 1996.
Bob continued to be involved in land development as a result
of the Aggregate Business. Bob had a genuine gift with people.
Everyone enjoyed working with or working for him during his lifetime.
He will be remembered for his wonderful humour, integrity and
loyalty to people, the many Friendships and challenges with the
industry associations from sand and gravel and many others and
finally onto the Packaged Concrete Business. Bob was a member
and past president of the Kitchener Westmount Rotary Club with
a perfect attendance Record of 28 years.

passed out of this world as graciously and peacefully as he lived
in it. He will be dearly missed by his daughter Heather (Larry),
sons Ross and Barry and grandchildren, Sara and Mark. Roy was
predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Gladys, brothers Earl (twin)
and Mervin and a grand_son Eric. He will be sorely missed by his
sisters Lillian (Jay), Ruby and Gladys (Don), his brother Oliver
(Loretta), his sisters-in-law Beverley and Laura and their families.
Roy was born in Roblin, Manitoba on November 17, 1924. He married
Joyce Bernice
SCHWALM on July 29, 1950. Roy started Mickelson
Farm Equipment in Roblin in 1952. The young family moved to Yorkton,
Saskatchewan in 1958 to begin Mickelson Truck and Implements.
Roy and Joyce retired to Kamloops, British Columbia in 1987.
Roy was a true servant leader. He gave unendingly of his time
and energies and optimism. He was a proud member of the Rotary
Club. He served on the Board of Directors of Anderson Lodge,
The Yorkton Union Hospital and Westview United Church. He loved
his work with the Special Olympics and the Salvation Army. He
served as an alderman for the Yorkton City Council. When he was
not smiling his way down the slopes of Sun Peaks he was striding
the fairways of Aberdeen G.C.. Roy's gentle kindness touched
everyone whom he came in contact with. The world is a better
place because of his life.

and had worked with the Men's Club Sauerkraut Committee. She
married William E.
GLANFIELD at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Stratford on April 19, 1952. He predeceased her on June 22, 1999.

Guild and a noted bell ringer at the church. She was also very
involved in the Kinettes and K40 clubs of Stratford and enjoyed

her on February 1st, 1990. She is survived by her two daughters,
