Gale
Known to Friends as Gale, died of Alzheimer Disease on December
21, 2005 at the age of 73 in Toronto, Ontario. He was born April
29, 1932 in Regina, Saskatchewan, a
son of the late Benetta and
Eugene FISHER.
Gale will be sadly missed by his brother James

SCHIEDER.
A lively and engaging professor, Gale taught English Literature
at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario for most of his
professional life. Gale was a talented bridge player and painter,
and he greatly enjoyed attending the fine theatre, opera, and
symphony offerings in Toronto. Although he had read the entire
collection of John D. McDonald books, Gale's favourite author
remained Shakespeare. A caring, witty, and creative man, Gale
was a gentleman in every sense of the word.

Shell was born in Trent River on December 25,
1927. She trained to become a nurse at the Peterborough Civic
Hospital and worked in places as far flung as Brazil and Bermuda.
She settled down in London, Ontario where she raised her family
until charging back to work in her fifties. Never one to slow
down she worked until she was seventy. After she retired she
moved to Victoria, British Columbia to live with her daughter,
Frances. Her last years were spent thrilling to the adventures
of her beloved grand_sons and puttering in her garden. Her wit
and energy will be missed by all. A Service of Remembrance will
be held on December 10, 2005, at 10: 30 a.m. at The Mount Pleasant
Cemetery Chapel, 303 Riverside Dr., London, Ontario. Interment
will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the
Canadian National Institute for the Blind.

service celebrating Al's life will be announced at a later date.
At Al's request, interment of his and Elizabeth's ashes will
take place in St. Peter's Cemetery at that time. Those wishing

Mark GREGORY, beloved
son of Ute and Wolfgang
GREGORY, and cherished
brother of Tina
GREGORY, passed away suddenly, after a brief
illness, at his home, on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, at the
age of 37 years. Mark was born on February 12, 1968 in Montreal,
Québec, and moved with his family to Markham, Ontario, where
he attended high school and graduated from the University of
Toronto before studying computer science at the University of
Calgary. Mark was co-founder of Vantage Research, a market research
company in Calgary and most recently held a Senior Manager position
at Call-Us Info Inc. which acquired Vantage Research. He was
a keen student of history, politics, and especially computers.
He is lovingly remembered for his big heart, generosity, and
loyalty to his family, Friends, and co-workers. Mark was known
as a gourmet cook and a keen debater of current affairs. His
passion for languages enabled him to travel to Europe to visit
historic sites and family members. He enjoyed the annual Christmas
vacations in Florida and more recently trips to Sun City Grand,
Arizona. Nephew and godson of Brigitte
