Grandfather to Conal RAMSEY, Dr. Rory RAMSEY, Reverend Patrick RAMSEY, Dr. Kevin RAMSEY, Jennifer Bell YANTSOULIS, Catherine BELL, Dr. Andrew BELL, Charles WOLINSKY, Natalie Mirai STUBBS and Lewis Sora STUBBS; great-grandfather to Sean, Andrew, Aidan and Elliot Ramsey. Survived also by sister Connie Cruickshank, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Mary (WILLCOCK) St. George STUBBS; first wife Genevieve DOLLARD, daughter Cynthia Bell ONEILL; brothers, Roy, Gerald, Stanley; sisters, Lillian and Olive. Harold STUBBS graduated a goldmedalist from the University of Manitoba Law School in 1936. He was a member of the law firm Stubbs, Stubbs and Stubbs and was Secretary of the Manitoba Law Society from 1958-1981. Upon his retirement he was appointed Secretary Emeritus of the Manitoba Law Society. He was Secretary Treasurer of the Conference of Governing Bodies of the Legal Profession in Canada, 1960-1972. Also was a Bencher of the Law Society of Manitoba, Lecturer at Manitoba Law School, President of the Manitoba Bar Association 1957-1958. Appointed to Queens Council in January 1953. He served in the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Air Force 1941 to 1945 as pilot and flying officer. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, June 19 at Southwood Golf and Country Club from 1-4 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave. Winnipeg, Manitoba R3A 1P6.

Member of Reformed Church of America, Springford and longtime dairy farmer. Passed away peacefully October 24, 2005 at age 92. She was a superb Grandmother to Geoffrey, Douglas and Lisa and will be sorely missed by them as well as by her daughter-in-law Agnete COOPER. Bertha was predeceased by her husband, Richard Charles (Dick) COOPER and her son Dr. C. Richard COOPER who passed away in 1989. She will be fondly remembered by her family and the many Friends she leaves behind. Bertha was a very caring person, strong-willed and determined in everything she did. She was well-suited to her long and successful career in nursing, and even better suited as Grandmother and friend. Bob will be dearly missed by his daughter Carolyn ZILSTRA (Don,) and grandchildren Zachary, Christopher and Alexander SAIROGLOU and Colin, Claudia and Natalie ZILSTRA, as well as by his step-children Sarah Jayne MASON (Ryan plus new baby on the way,) Evan ROBILLARD (Jofel) and Vicki ROBILLARD (Nazmul). Bob, who was born May 27, 1944, has finally and with great joy joined his birth mother Naomi Payne DENNISCHUCK, as well as his beloved parents Anne and Bill MORRISON. Bob was a beloved brother and brother-in-law to Jane JONES (Jack,) Rodger (Mary,) Chris (Linda,) Edward, Tim (Judith,) Greg (Cathy) HERRIOTT, Linda RUMBLE (Kevin,) and Howard KEMPTON (Susan.) As requested, after Bob made his donation to Trillium Gift of Life, with the donation of his eyes, he was cremated. Arrangements entrusted to W.C.
