Beloved Grandfather to Matt, Phillip, Meggan and Mitchell GOULD of Brampton, Ontario. We love you Grandpa GOULD! Beloved and loving companion to Hazel WHITTINGHAM of Parksville, British Columbia. He will be greatly missed by Hazel and her children Brenda SEELENMAYER (Paul ROUSE) and her children Sean and Clayton, also Corinne HILLSDEN (Glen) and their furry children Amber, Bailey and Cheena. He will also be missed by his step-children Sue SHERLOCK (Barry), Tom SHERLOCK (Sue) and Mary SHERLOCK. Arnold is survived by his brother Ross GOULD (Jeannette) of Scarborough, Ontario and by his sister Shirley GAUVREAU of Islington, Ontario. Beloved brother to the late Jack and Ken GOULD of Toronto, Ontario. He was a beloved son to the late Philip and Beatrice GOULD of Etobicoke, Ontario. Arnold retired after a 43-year employment at Canada Post, including Regional Director and President of Toronto Local Canadian Union of Postal Workers. He finished his career in Parksville, British Columbia. He was also a World War 2 Veteran, serving overseas with The Royal Canadian Air Force 419 and 429 Squadrons. Arnold was a loving and generous man and always had a smile or was willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbours, Friends and family. A service is to be held in Parksville, British Columbia, Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Parksville Funeral Home. There will also be a memorial held in Brampton, Ontario in January. Norman Stephen ROUSSEAU, age 48, of 246 Brunswick Street, Stratford passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 9, 2005. Born in Stratford, dear son of G. Norman ROUSSEAU of 10 Willow Street, Stratford and the late June M. (CLELLAND) ROUSSEAU. Norman graduated from Stratford Central Secondary School in 1975 and from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics in 1980. He was employed with Domtar - Pulp and Paper Division in Red Rock as a health and safety supervisor and later with Inglis Appliances in Mississauga. While in Red Rock, he was a Troop Leader with Scouts Canada and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Norman was an avid hockey and golf fan, was a past associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Stratford Branch #8 and a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
He was predeceased by his dear companion Frances (Franny) HEIM on August 3, 2003. Dear brother of Denise and husband Mark MAYER of R.R.#1 Gadshill, Cheryl and husband Rick TAILOR/TAYLOR of Ingersoll and George ROUSSEAU and wife Darya of Vienna, Ontario. Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton on Saturday, October 8, 2005 in his 81st year. Predeceased by his beloved son Allan Harvey LANCTOT (Arlene) and loving father of Gloria DEASE, Kathryn WILEY (Brian) and Anne COSTIE (Mark.) Dear friend of their mother, Frances LANCTOT, and of his wife Janine MORIN, currently residing in Montreal. Proud grandfather of Michelle (Peter), LeeAnne (Mike), Tracey (Kevin), Allan Jr., Kristie (Jason), Mark, Tara (Chris), Brian, Stephen and nine beautiful greatgrandchildren. Also sadly missed by his sister Laurette ROUSSEAU of Montreal, his nieces and nephews and his Friends at the Residences on Augusta. Harvey retired from the CUMIS Group in 1990 where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer. He chose to make credit unionism a life long commitment when in 1945 he joined Windsor Credit Union in Montreal. He served as Managing Director of the Quebec Credit Union League from 1953 to 1956 and during that period organized more that 125 credit unions and caisses populaires. He devoted 34 years of his life to the CUMIS Group, since joining its forer unner, the CUNA Mutual Insurance Society in 1956. His aspirations and vision led to the for mation of the CUMIS Life Insurance Company and later the CUMIS General Insurance Company, The CUMIS Group Limited and Canadian Northern Shield Insurance Company. In addition to his full time career with the CUMIS Group he demonstrated extraordinary leadership and diplomacy while serving on the boards of directors of the Canadian Co-operative Credit Society, Canadian Co-operative Association, Co-operative Trust Company of Canada and Co-operators Data Services Limited. He demonstrated a true philanthropic concern for his fellow citizens and for his community at large, having served as an active director on the boards of Big Brothers Association of Hamilton, St. Joseph's Villa of Dundas, the Hamilton and District Chamber of Commerce, St. Elizabeth's Nursing Home in Hamilton, the Hamilton and District Social Planning and Research Council, the Rotary Club of Hamilton, Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation, Big Brothers of Canada, president of the United Way of Canada, president of the Hamilton & District United Appeal, president of the Catholic Youth Organization Diocese of Hamilton, chairman of the Hamilton-Wentworth District Health Council and upon his retirement from the CUMIS Group was recognized with a lifetime appointment as Director Emeritus of all the CUMIS Group of companies. At Dad's request, private cremation has taken place. She leaves to mourn her seven children, their spouses and their children.
Jean-Louis (Céline ROUSSEAU) of Montréal, Louise (Dr. Bernard GUAY) of Shefford, Pierre (Lisa ANDREOLI- MASSÉ) of Vancouver, Daniel (Anne POTVIN) of Québec, Lucie of Montréal, André (Nadine LACHANCE) of Baie-Comeau and Gérard (Dawna HALES- MASSÉ) of Winnipeg.

Mr. RISSLING moved to Sudbury in 1942 to seek employment. He worked several jobs including Inco and Palm dairies until he found his niche in the furniture business. He worked and managed several businesses until he owned and operated his own furniture store. He enjoyed watching "the ponies" at Sudbury Downs and owned a few horses. Ned served in the Canadian Air Force from 1943 to 1946. He loved to travel and enjoyed many countries of the world. Mr. RISSLING moved to London 27 years ago. A lover of music, Ned enjoyed playing the piano, accordion and the organ. Ned would relish and delight in the joy of his large family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who called him "Poppa Bear". Born in Francis, Saskatchewan to German immigrant parents, the Late Franz RISSLING and Caroline RINK. Beloved husband for 64 years of Doreen (LLOYD) RISSLING.
