Dr. William J.F.; M.D., C.R.C.S.C., M.H.A., and F.R.C.P.S. a resident of Ridgetown passed away at the Village Retirement Residence, Ridgetown on Friday, May 20, 2005 at the age of 93 years. Born in Wingham, Ontario, the son of the late James Herbert and Margaret (GALBRAITH) BUGG. Dr. BUGG graduated front the University of Western, Ontario, faculty of Medicine in 1938, and in 1954 received his Masters Degree in Hospital Administration from Washington D.C. He was the director of Westminster Hospital D.V.A. London, 1966-1974, a former assistant to the Deputy Minister of Veteran Affairs, Ottawa, and a member of the Senate of the University of Western Ontario 1968-1971. Dr. BUGG was a veteran of World War 2 serving as a Captain with the R.C.A.M.C. #24 Canadian General Hospital. He had received a Canadian Red Cross Citation and the Centennial Medal in 1967. He was a founding member and past chairman of the London and District Health Association and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Dear father of Stephen BUGG and his wife Sandra of Sarnia, James BUGG and Patricia POOK of R.R.#1, Morpeth, the late William BUGG (2003) and Judy KEENAN of London. At Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday, May 18, 2005, Lillie Jane TELFER of Woodstock in her 92nd year (born February 2, 1914.) Dearly beloved wife of the late Forrest TELFER (1976.) Daughter of the late Commandant James T. POOLE (1873-1956) and Lottie POOLE (1887-1972) of the Salvation Army who retired and died in Toronto. Sister of the late Bramwell POOLE (1992) and his wife Flora of North Bay, Ontario, the late Reverend Albert POOLE (1999) and his wife Muriel of Lakeside, California, and Mary CROWE and her husband Ted of Apsley, Ontario. Survived by six nieces and nephews, Sharron and Ron POOLE; and Paul, David, Anne and Carolyn CROWE and their families. Also survived by Forrest's two children, Beth KILLING and her husband Vic of Midland, Ontario and Keith and his wife Rose of Scarborough, Ontario and their children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Lillie came to Woodstock in 1961 when she married R. Forrest TELFER, and continued volunteer work with several organizations. She was a past president of the former Oxford County Art Association, founding curator of the Woodstock Art Gallery from 1966 to 1976, represented Ontario Art Galleries on the Council of the Ontario Museums Association, appointed to the Governing Council of the Ontario College of Art and Chair of the Publications Committee Council. She was president of the Woodstock branch of the Canadian Save the Children Foundation and served on their National Board. Lillie was a founding member of the city's Fair Beautification Committee. She was a member of the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre and the Woodstock Museum and was a life member of the Woodstock Art Gallery. Friends will be received for a memorial visitation at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Sunday, May 29, 2005 from 2: 00 to 4:00 p.m. Cremation followed by interment at The Anglican Cemetery, Woodstock. HEATH, Howard Edgar Wesley
Passed away peacefully into the hands of the Lord on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, after a short illness, in his 101st year. Howard was born in Ethel, Ontario on September 17, 1904, the son of the late Wesley and Lavina (ZURBRIGG) HEATH of Listowel. Howard was a barber all his life. He came to Saint Thomas in 1929 working in partnership with Earl COOK until the war. In 1940 he went to the Air Force Technical Training School which had taken over the Saint Thomas Psychiatric Hospital building and operated the Barber Shop there for 6 and a half years. After the war he operated his own barber shop on Ross St. for 27 years, retiring after 40 years in 1972. He was a life member of Talbot Lodge #546 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons receiving his 50 year jewel in 1992. He was Past Patron of Central Star Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #57. He was a member of Grace United Church for over 70 years and an elder over 30 years, serving on various boards and committees.
Survived by his loving wife Beth HEATH (POOLE) (BEAL) and predeceased by his 1st wife Eva (ANDERSON) HEATH. Beloved stepfather of Sandra SIBBLEY and Jim and his wife Cathy BEAL, all of Saint Thomas. Loved brother of Helen GUNN of Milverton. Predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Age 82, in Halifax, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 5, 2005 in the Coronary Care Unit, Queen Elizabeth 2nd, Halifax. Born on July 21, 1922 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Ronald Hugh and Annie (JOHNSON) MacDONALD. Hugh was a Veteran of the Second World War in which he served overseas as an officer. When he returned he studied medicine at Dalhousie University and practiced as a neurologist for many years in Halifax. He retired in 1997 and since 1998 resided at the Veterans' Memorial Building in Halifax. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Barbara (Douglas DEACON) MacDONALD and son Dr. David (Grazia GALLI) MacDONALD; grandchildren Jennifer and Kate MacDONALD and Jonas, Hélène and Rob DEACON; great-granddaughter Marion Elizabeth DEACON; sisters Edith MacGIBBON and Laura POOLE; and many special nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Angus, sisters Tena McKILLOP and Gladys FIOLEK, and his granddaughter Marion DEACON. No visitation or flowers by his request. It is with much sadness we announce our beautiful and gentle mom has left us to join our dad Percy (1999) on Wednesday, August 10, 2005. Mom was in her 89th year and will be greatly missed by her family and Friends. Left behind to miss her terribly is David and his wife Maureen, Vikki WATT and her husband Bob, Nancy JOURNEAUX and her husband Craig. She was the very proud gran to James, Kristin and Erin Watt whom she adored. Mom was a member of the Sketch Group at the Burlington Cultural Centre for over 30 years where she was affectionately called "Biker Chic", The Mississauga China Painters, The Ontario Eastern Star - Lakeview Chapter No. 79 and St. Christopher's Anglican Church.
