In loving memory of Wes C.
PIERCE who passed away 1 year ago
September 30, 2004. Deep in my heart your memory will stay. Loved
and remembered evey day by wife Ruth My Papa ~ by Wesley Gerald
PIERCE My
Papa, he's a quiet man, We say hello ~ he shakes my
hand. There's always food, ready to eat, He knows that bacons
my morning treat. We wander out front to check on the flowers,
That's where Papa spends most of his hours. When dinners over,
I hear him shout, Who's going fishing, they're biting no doubt.
So off in the boat, we finally settle, Back in the weeds, where
the large mouth nestle. Papa casts first, while Dad and I prepare,
Some ducks fly by in the crips sunset air. "I've got one, it's
big", I yell with glee, Then all the hidden birds suddenly flee.
Dad helps me reel, while Papa glances, He says, "Keep the tip
up while that fish dances." Now the sun's disappearing out over
the Lake, So we head back in, we've caught all we can take. Another
great day at Long Point, you see Just fishing with Dad, Papa
and Me.

WATERS,
Mary▲
Pauline▲
(McCANDLESS)
Early in the morning of Wednesday, December 29, 2004, the Lord
called. The call was answered. Mary Pauline
(McCANDLESS)
WATERS
drifted from sleep to eternity, whereupon she was found by her
life-long friend, Mrs. Mary
PIERCE and daughter Laurie. A dearer
friend no one could deny. To you Aunt Mary, Laurie, Clifford,
Edward, Michelle, and family, we are eternally grateful. You
were the nucleus of her world, her family. She loved and cherished
you all. Loving arms and outstretched hands will greet Mary in
her new world; her wonderful and devoted parents Vila and Evan
McCANDLESS, who adored her, her loving companion Sig, who loved
and supported her in mid-life. Lost in grief and missing her
terribly are her twin daughters, Emily Gayle
SCHROEDER and Paula
Jane (Miriam)
FARBIASZ.
There▲ with her daughters stands The Little
One Maureen
(STEVENS)
NESBITT.
She loved you, Maureen. Mary counted
you among her children. Saddened, missing her, and bearing the
weight of great support are Mr. Paul
SCHROEDER, loving husband
to Emily, and Mr. Isaac
FARBIASZ, loving husband to Paula Jane.
In the blush of early adult life, Mary met and fell in love with
a most handsome young man, Ray
WATERS, who was to be her husband
of many years. Together they walked the path of married and family
life until, unfortunately, as with all things, The End Comes...
Visitation was held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, in Strathroy
on Monday, January 3, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with funeral service
taking place at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 4 at 11
a.m. Donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly
appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living
memorial to Mary.
