On Wednesday, March 23rd, 2005, in her 94th year, at Etobicoke General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Metody PANTO. Dear sister to the late Doris MIHAY and the late Mary MAHONEY. Loving mother of son Paul (Maureen) and daughter Elsie (Frank IVERSON.) Cherished grandmother of Jody (Ben CHONG,) Lisa (Trevor WOODS,) Christopher (Karen), Kimberley and Karen IVERSON. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren Abbigayle and Nathan WOODS, Dylan and Charlotte PANTO, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her. Visitation at Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas St. West, Toronto 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 28. Visitation will continue Tuesday, March 29 in the chapel of the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre, 60 Richview Road, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.

Ivan Douglas PATTERSON
In loving memory of Ivan Douglas PATTERSON, December 15, 1933 - December 29, 2004.
Doug PATTERSON, a resident of Mindemoya, died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at the age of 71 years. He was born in Sudbury, son of the late D. A. and Lottie (SLOSS) PATTERSON. Doug's father opened his store in Spring Bay in 1941. In 1970, Doug took over the store and Post Office and ran it until 1994. He was very active in the community as a member of Gore Bay Masonic Lodge, the Shriners, the Spring Bay Community Centre Board and was the longest serving member on the Board of Education, starting on the Campbell Board in 1957 to 1969, then the Manitoulin Board until the Rainbow Board took over. Doug had a natural athletic ability and excelled in baseball, hockey and curling. He also enjoyed watching and traveled many places to watch his favourite sporting events. He also enjoyed hunting and each year was eager for deer season, where he spent many years hunting with the McDermid family at the Sand Bluffs Hunt Camp. Many fond memories will be cherished by all.
Dearly loved husband of Fern (PANTON) PATTERSON. Loving and loved father of Jill of Gore Bay and Juli (Danny) of Lively. Proud Grampa of Jade. Dear brother of Patricia, husband Marvin VAN HORN of Sudbury and brother in law of Cleo and John STRAIN, Connie and Jack HARRISON, Archie and Nancy PANTON and Mary PANTON (husband Red predeceased) all of Gore Bay and Kim and Kathleen PANTON of Elliot Lake. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. The funeral service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Monday, January 3, 2005 at 11 am with Reverend Canon Bain PEEVER officiating. Cremation to follow.

It is with great sadness that the Pantusa family announces the passing of Rosina Adelina PANTUSA, on January 9, 2005 at the age of 91. She was an inspirational woman who graced her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with a great deal of love, strength and wisdom and she will be sadly missed. Predeceased by her husband Eugenio and survived by her children Tony (Lidia), Maria (Nicola), her grandchildren Daniela (Wally), Adele, Rossana (Randy), Eugenia and her great-grandchildren Jordan, Christian, Lauren and Alexia. It is with great sadness that on the 10th anniversary of the death of his wife, Angela, we announce the passing of Giovanni STEA on Friday, September 16, 2005. Giovanni died at home peacefully, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by his nine children Maria (Vito) CHIECHI, Teresa (Nick) NOVIELLI, Raffaele (Tina) STEA, Donna (Ferdi) MOSCATTINI, Grace (Nick) SANDALUCK, Franca (Saverio) DIMITA, Mina (Joseph) PANZA, Vito (Rose) STEA and Nino (Trina) STEA. Giovanni was tenderly cared for at home and his life was extended by the care he received from his children and especially by the extraordinary care he received from his primary caregiver, his daughter, Teresa, for which the family will forever be grateful. Giovanni will be greatly missed by his sister. He leaves behind relatives in Canada and Italy. There will be a Mass to celebrate his life at St. Roch Roman Catholic Church (lslington Avenue south of Steeles Avenue) on Monday, September 19, 2005 at 10: 30 a.m. Giovanni will be buried next to his wife, Angela, in Sannicandro, Bari, Italy. It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Nicola surrounded by family at home on Saturday, September 3rd, 2005 at the age of 79. Loving husband of Elisabetta. Father of Paolo and his wife Sharon, Angela and her husband Carlo LADISA, his wonderful grandchildren Christopher and Tina, Nicolas and Diana and Michelle and Keith and great-grandchildren Alyssa and Nicolas. Predeceased by his parents Paolo and Angela and brothers Franco, Domenico and Vito. Nicola will be sadly missed by his many sisters and brothers-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews both here and in Italy.
