Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday August 20, 2005 at the Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll. Charles (Skip) SAINT_DENIS of Ingersoll was in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Julia (NORRINGTON) whom he married June 23, 1990. Dear father of Terri ROONEY of Thamesford, Mark PACE and his wife Liz of Maple Ridge, British Columbia and by his step-son Marc CADE and wife Mary-Ann of Thunder Bay. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Mallory, Zachary, Nikki, Vicki, Mel and Dakota. He is survived by his sisters and brother Pearl and Harvey SCHERMERHORN of Drumbo, Cathy SAINT_DENIS, Carmie SPARKS and Lloyd ARMSTRONG all of Princeton and Chris SAINT_DENIS and Marilyn LOUNSBURY of Wolverton. John died January 18, 2005, at age 61. He was taken from us far too soon and without warning. John leaves behind his beloved wife of 34 years, Janet, their two daughters, Melinda and Bronwyn, brother-in-law George PACE, sister-in-law Irene PACE and nephews Tim and Daryl, his wife Stacey and their two children, brother-in-law Bryan WARD, sister-in-law Linda WARD and their three children. He also leaves behind many close and cherished Friends and colleagues. John will be remembered for many things, among them his sense of fairness, honesty, loyalty and love of a good debate. He was a mentor to many, loved to tell stories and make people laugh. Above all, John loved his family fiercely. His happiest times were at our cottage on Whitefish Lake, with his family, his Friends and his woodpile. John's death leaves a huge void in the lives of many.
A private cremation service will take place for family only. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 2 p.m. at St. Clement's Church, 59 Briar Avenue, Toronto, reception will follow in the Parish Hall. PACE, Dr. William Eugene, M.D., M.Sc., F.R.C.P.C.
Dermatologist and Clinical Professor Emeritus, University of Western Ontario, passed away peacefully and gracefully in his 90th year on Thursday, November 10, 2005 after surgery following a longstanding battle with Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by the love of his life, Elizabeth (WAUGH) PACE and their six children, spouses and grandchildren. They are: Anne (PACE) WALKER and Harry WALKER of Burlington with children Jennifer (Walker) SMITH and husband Steve, Lindsay and David; Captain John and Sheilagh PACE of Montreal with children Jessica and Kaitlin Dr. Ron and Ellen PACE of Waterloo with children Michael and Alison; Mary PACE and Roy FRENCH of Toronto with son Alex; Allan PACE and Lin WARD of Orangeville with son Taylor; and Carla PACE and her friend Colin WHITE/WHYTE of Vancouver. Brother-in-law to Pat WAUGH and the late Dick WAUGH, and much loved uncle to his many Waugh nieces and nephews. Bill PACE graduated from Medicine at the University of Western Ontario in 1941 and ser ved as Squadron Leader, Medical Services in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War (1942-1946). During that time, he developed a life-long passion for flying, a dream that came to fruition after he earned his commercial pilot's license at the age of 74. Following the war, he went on to obtain his M.Sc. in Biochemistry and then specialized in Dermatology, a field of medicine that at the time was still in its infancy. He was passionate about the dangers of sunlight long before it was fashionable and he became an expert on sun-induced skin damage. Through his dedicated efforts that include the discovery of Benzoyl Peroxide as an effective treatment for the humiliating disease of teenage acne, and his compassionate and tireless treatment of complex skin ulcers, his referral practice flourished. He often became the final arbiter for complex problems that had resisted diagnosis and treatment. His love for his work and family was matched by his love of the great outdoors, which he shared with his wife and children on many occasions. As an avid canoe tripper and naturalist, every portage and campsite became a field trip where the beauties of nature were honoured and respected. His agile and tireless mind was not hampered by the deafness that progressed throughout his adult life, nor by the Parkinson's Disease that robbed him of his physical mobility in his later years. His keen intellect, hearty laugh and sparkling blue eyes will be remembered as a lasting tribute to his long and productive life. Visitation on Tuesday, November 15th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at James A. Harris Funeral Home 220 St. James St. at Richmond Street, London, Ontario where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 16th at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation and interment to take place at a later date at Mt. Beloved wife of George. Mother of Linda, Leslie and George Jr. She will be greatly missed by her daughter-in-law Claudine HALLAM, son-in-law Tom LONG, Linda's partner Ivan URBLIK and her grandchildren Melissa, Michael, Memphis and Veronica LONG and Joel and Emma PACE. Bobbie is survived by her brother Ben CRACKNELL and his wife June of London, Ontario. Her mother and father Marjorie and Bob CRACKNELL predeceased her as did her sister Anne McGOWAN. Emmle PACE passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2005 in Hamilton. He leaves his wife Loretta (O'HERON) of 54 years, four children and five grandchildren: Anna (Barry PERVIN) and Isabel; Greg (Kim KEARNS;) Tim (Heather CHISHOLM) and Kate, Sarah and Andrew Michael (Sandra MARSMAN) and Stephen. He will be missed by siblings Frank PACE and Guisa ZAMMIT and many nieces and nephews in Malta. Emmle was a Veteran of the Royal Air Force in World War 2 in Malta. He emigrated to Canada in 1948. He retired from the Department of Immigration after 30 years in Niagara Falls and Hamilton. We give our appreciation and thanks to the many caring people at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, the nurses, para-meds and occupational therapists of the Community Care Access Centre and to the wonderful staff and priests of St. Peter's Hospital. ln lieu of flowers, donations to Habitat for Humanity would be appreciated. Dearly missed by his sister-in-law Vanessa and her family of Ottawa, brother Gordon WILLIAMS (Helen) of Mesa, Arizona and by his long-time Friends. Frank was a loyal member of the Kiwanis Club of Riverview. He served overseas in England with the Canadian Army for 6 years during World War 2 and saw action in Italy. Cremation has taken place. Wife, love and centre of the universe for more than 60 years to Walter PACHOLKA, Pamela passed away at Saint Anne's Veterans' Hospital. She leaves five devoted children - Jane McMAHON (Hartley,) Robin HARDMAN (Graham), Michael (Urszula), Anne, and James (Teresa) - seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pam was born in Croydon, England to Maurice and Dorothy MORAN. During World War 2 she was a nurse and then joined the Royal Air Force where she trained as a meteorologist and met Wally. They were married in December 1944 and arrived in Canada in May 1945. Pamela will be remembered by all who met her for her smile and graciousness, and for her many contributions to Canadian society. The cremation and burial service at the Field of Honour in Pointe Claire will be private. She will also be honoured during the Veterans' Memorial Service on June 5, 2005 in Pointe Claire. Donations to Saint Anne's Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated. We love you, Pam and will miss you dearly.

PACINI, Alma (née GUIDOLIN)
Peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2005, at the Baycrest Hospital, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Charles for 59 beautiful years. Loving mother of Geraldine (Lou) Intini, Deanna (Ken) RUTHERFORD, Leanna PACINI and Cathy (Bill) CARRIGAN. Fun-loving Nonna of John (Michelle), Peter, Erin, Marisa, Laura and Carly. Alma will be deeply missed by her family and Friends. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. from St. Bernard de Clairvaux Church, 1789 Lawrence Ave. W. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
