NEEDHAM, T. Willard " Bill"
Born July 4, 1923 in London, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 14, 2005 at University Hospital. Loved and missed by wife, Dorothy (FLEMING/FLEMMING,) children Jackie and Gord DEL DEGAN; David and Joan FLEMING/FLEMMING; Cindy and Andrew NASHED; Pamela and Gerry HUNTER; Debbie and Rudy PARACHONIAK Jim and Elsa FAGAN; David and Allison FAGAN. Grandchildren: Adam, Emma and Kate DEL DEGAN; Shane, Nikki, Carly and Michael FLEMING/FLEMMING Andrea, Duncan, and Erin HUNTER; Sandi, Jody, Rudy and Andy PARACHONIAK Jesse, Alicia, Jeffrey, Kayla and Jeremy FAGAN; David and Matthew FAGAN. Best friend to his brother-in-law, Gordon FRY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by wife Evelyn, 1972, siblings Lewis, Margaret, Jean and Carmen, and parents Gordon and Emma NEEDHAM.
Bill worked as a proud sheet metal worker, supervising and building numerous construction projects including the Ford Motor Company, Wellington Mall, U.W.O. and the Cami plant. He was well respected and liked by all the men who worked under him and those he worked with. Bill saw front-line action with the Irish Regiment, 5th Division, 1942-1946. He played football for the London Lords, Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen and Regina Roughriders. His favourite past-times were watching all sports, especially football with his favourite dog, Rosie, and his frequent daily trips to Tim Hortons. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7: 00-9:00 p.m. as well as 1 hour prior to the funeral service being conducted at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North (2 blocks north of Oxford) on Saturday, June 18t h, 2005 at 10: 30 a.m. Reverend Peter LEONARD of All Saints Anglican Church officiating. Interment, Grove Cemetery. Special thanks to the Doctors and nurses in Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital for their excellent care of Bill and for their dedication and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London, on Tuesday, February 2, 2005, (Bill) William Charles YEAMAN in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Janice Marie YEAMAN (SEARS) of London. Dear father of Bill YEAMAN of Cambridge, Karen DAUB (Matthew) of Dorchester and Krista WHITE/WHYTE (Justin FOSTER) of Burford. Loving grandfather of Theresa YEAMAN of Woodstock, and Bill YEAMAN of Cambridge, Taylor ARMSTRONG and Griffin DAUB. Brother of Beverley NASI (Bill) of Perth, Margaret GAUS (Ron) of Kitchener and Diane HYMERS (Gord) of Listowel. Much loved son-in-law of Zita Marie SEARS of Tillsonburg. He will be dearly missed by all of his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Jack and his sister Shirley. Cremation has taken place. Peacefully in Ottawa on December 10, 2005, age 64. Loving and beloved husband of Ruth. Dear father of Rebecca MOONEY (Asif NASIM) of Mississauga and Julie MOONEY of Toronto. John will be fondly remembered by his many Friends and loved ones. He retired from the National Research Council Finance, I.M.S. following a varied and successful accounting career. He will be remembered for his service contributions to The United Church of Canada and his passion for sailing, travelling and nature. He enjoyed the Investment Club at the Riviera Classics of which he was a founding member. Two of his lifelong goals of living on a farm and settling in a bungalow by the water, were fulfilled. He took great pleasure in the organization and realization of a community street party in Carleton Place this year. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Thursday, December 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, December 16, 2005 at 11 a.m. Those wishing may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Special thanks to the nursing staff at the Carleton Place Memorial Hospital and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Clinic for their remarkable care and compassion.

EISENSTAT, Helen (née LEVY)
Our mother Helen EISENSTAT, daughter of Isaac and Jenny LEVY, and loving wife to our late father Louis EISENSTAT, died on November 26, 2005, at the age of 87. Her death, like her life, brought family and loved ones closer. She leaves a great void in the lives of her children Marilyn (Michael POSLUNS,) Lorraine (Ernie WEINRIB,) Barbara, and Sholom (Rifka.) Her grandchildren Aliza, Sara, Jacob, Yedida, and Ayala benefited from their Bubi Helen's love and attention, as did her nephews and nieces Sheila, Paula, Howie, Steve, Judy, Rhoda, Noah, Ava, John, and their families. Helen's life was intertwined with many other lives: her sister Margaret NASLEN; her sisters-in-law Belle TAFT and Minnie COHEN, her late brothers-in-law Earl (Jake) and Ned; the Feldman, Paul and Bar-Am families; her Friends, especially Yetta MEDNICK and life-long friend Laura EDELL - and to the spouses of all these loved ones, z"l. Helen loved her adopted Kazekevich family, Alex, Klara, Michael and Masha. Helen's family will always be grateful to Lorraine and Ernie who opened their home to Helen during her illness so that she could remain in the circle of her family and Friends. The family thanks Doctors GOLDMAN and STEINBERG and the Palliative Care Team at Mount Sinai's Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care; nurses Liz, Marg and Valerio; Sheila WALKER of the Jewish Hospice; Doctors KEYSTONE and WAERN; and Helen's wonderful caregivers Cora, Zora, Mary, Pat, Carol, Maria, Claudia, Ofelia, Robin and Joyce.
