Jose "Peping" MONTOJO peacefully joined our Creator on Thursday, November 17th, 2005, surrounded by his grateful and loving family, extended family and Friends. A gentle, loving, and steadfast husband, father, and grandfather, "Peping" spent his entire life caring and providing for his family and Friends. He was always there to lend a hand, especially with his special gift of a "green thumb". While he will be greatly missed by his loved ones, his legacy of dedication and selflessness will live on in our hearts always. Rower's Olympic hopes were truly crushed

Victoria -- Lloyd MONTOUR, a member of Canada's ill-fated rowing team at the 1952 Olympics, has died in Duncan, British Columbia He was 79.
Mr. MONTOUR and three other from the Leander club of Hamilton, Ontario, had qualified for the Helsinki Olympics by winning the Dominion championship. Hopes for a medal were dashed when the freighter carrying the team's boats was rocked by a fierce storm. The boats were crushed by shifting cargo. Later, the Canadians borrowed old Swedish boats that proved to be among the slowest afloat.
Lloyd Daniel MONTOUR was a star athlete in Hamilton in his youth. He won a national championship with the Panthers intermediate football team, as well as a national junior rowing title in the eights.
Mr. MONTOUR worked for many years in Alberta at the Banff School of the Arts, now the Banff Centre. He died at his Vancouver Island home on January 22. He leaves his wife of 38 years, Eleanor a son; and three sisters.

MONZAR, Aloisia Stefanie (née NASCHOLD)
In her 92nd year, Aloisia "Luise" MONZAR passed away on Monday August 8, 2005. Loving wife of the late (Wenzel) Benno MONZAR (1911-1983), devoted mother of Gerhard and cherished grandmother of Gregory and Arlene. Luise was born November 27, 1913 in Vienna, Austria to Eugen (1876-1945) and Elizabeth (1882-1951) NASCHOLD and was the younger sister of Ernestine BRUNNER (1909-1994.) In 1955, Luise moved to Canada with her husband and son where they started the Old Vienna Pastry Shop on Dundas Street in Toronto, creating Viennese style cakes and coffee. Oma, as she was affectionately known later in her life was at the heart of our family. She will be long remembered for her dedication as a wife, mother and grandmother. Always laughing and joking, Oma continued to play her favourite gin rummy with the family until last month. She will be greatly missed. A Committal Service will be held at Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke on Monday August 15, 2005 at 3: 00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
