Lucia will be fondly remembered by the Cenacle Prayer Group of Saint Mary's Parish. Nonna's legacy of generosity and love will live on in everyone whose life she has touched. At Parkwood Hospital on Wednesday, September 7th, 2005, Mr. George A. "Tub" WALKER of London in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Dolores (DAVIES) WALKER. Loving father to Connie WALKER and her late husband Gord, and Wendy WALCH and her husband Chris, who was like a son, all of London. A special grandfather who lived for his grandchildren: Jordan, Sandra, Tom, Kristin, Josh and Jenna. Dear brother of Norma BARR, Sheila STAFFORD and her husband Laurence, Phyllis MENNELL, Helen JOHNSON and her husband Len, all of London, Gerry DAVIS and her husband Robert of Ridgetown, Carole HAWKINS and her husband Don, who was George's long time best friend, also of London. Predeceased by his two brothers William and David, and his brothers-in-law, Jim and Harry. Also survived by his sister-in-law Judy WALKER of London, as well as many nieces and nephews. George was on the London Fire Department for 33 years and retired as a Captain. He loved spending time at his cottage with his family and his old cars. He adored animals, and had a special bond with his cat T.J. Mr. Steve LEMAK of Wallaceburg passed away suddenly surrounded by his family, on Monday, February 21, 2005 at the "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the age of 82. Steve was born in Hungary and was a son of the late Steve and Flora LEMAK. He came to Canada in 1937 and settled in Wallaceburg where he worked all of his life. He retired as the Assembly Manager for North American Plastics in Wallaceburg. Steve enjoyed making wine, spending time in his garden and his yard was his pride and joy. Beloved husband of 60 years to Margaret (VARGA) LEMAK. Loving father and father-in-law of Susan and Jeff WILLIAMS of Chatham. Cherished grandfather of April WILLIAMS of Chatham. Kind brother of Mary and the late Steve PALOCZ of Wallaceburg and Jim and Janet LEMAK of Chatham. Kind brother-in-law of Rose and Mike O'MARA of Chatham, Helen and the late John PETER of Harrow and the late Elizabeth OPRE. Special uncle to John OPRE and Mike OPRE both of Brantford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his cat Daisy. The late Steve LEMAK rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street, in Wallaceburg, until Thursday, February 24, 2005 when the funeral service was held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. Pall Bearers were: Jeff WILLIAMS, Mike O'MARA, Mike OPRE, Steve HENRY, Chris ELVERS and John DUNN. Born in Southwold, Ontario on February 19, 1922, he spent most of his life on the farm where he was born, moving to Saint Thomas in 2000. Ron worked in the Maintenance Department of the Saint Thomas Psychiatric Hospital until he retired. He was an Elder at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Pinafore Congregation, where he will always be remembered for his zealous work there. Cremation has already taken place with interment of ashes in McArthur Cemetery, Southwold. A Public Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 3: 00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Gore Rd., Saint Thomas. Visitation prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. Remembrances may be made through Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas to the Pinafore Congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses: in lieu of flowers.

MENZIES, A. Alexander " Sandy," (PhD.Econ)
Born in Fergus, Ontario in 1940, Sandy died in Vancouver February 8, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Formerly of Ottawa he is survived by his wife and best friend Susan (MEREDITH.) Beloved brother of Heather BEECROFT (Toronto,) uncle of Christopher BEECROFT, brother-in-law to Leslie LEWIN, Deborah MacDOUGALL, Hilary MEREDITH, David MEREDITH, Jocelyn HIDI, Michael MEREDITH and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Albert A. and Helen I. (MUIR) MENZIES. Educator, public servant, champion horse breeder and community volunteer "Sandy" will be missed by many Friends and relatives, Merediths and Menzies alike. Thanks to Dr. Brian Calvin and Dr. Michael Kenyon of Nanaimo and the British Columbia Transplant team for their compassionate care. Sandy's desire for a private cremation has been respected. Memorial service will be held at a later date in Ontario.
