peacefully at home with her daughter, Diane and son, David at
her side. Dorothy was born in Ottawa on January 1, 1926. She

After raising her children, Dorothy worked at Ledbury Park Junior
High, David S. Reid, and Curtis Mathes. After her retirement,
she volunteered at Churchill Public School and received the Mayor's
Volunteer of the Year Award. Dorothy was a long time supporter
and Board member of Unicamp. She attended and served on the Boards
of Willowdale and Don Heights Unitarian congregations. Dorothy

Carl was the eldest

four brothers: Morris (Bernadette) of Marmora, Doug (Eleanor)
of Deloro, Keith (Yola) of Havelock, and Vincent (Joy) of Belleville.
In 1952, Carl graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor
of Science in Metallurgical Engineering. He began his career
with General Motors Diesel in London, Ontario, moving to Deloro
Stellite before joining the Aluminum Company of Canada (Alcan)
in Kingston in 1957. In 1961, he transferred to Alcan's Montreal
head Office, where, over the course of 30 years, Carl earned
an international reputation as a leader in his field. The family

died at Scarborough Grace Hospital. At her bedside were son Neil,
his wife Sheila
PROVAZZA and Muriel's companion John
LYNCH.
Muriel
is survived by sister Marion
PULHAM.
She was sister to the late
Doug PAPPLE.
Born in Brantford, Muriel met and married the late
George "Duke"
FORREST and settled in Toronto. Muriel and Duke
lived and worked in many parts of Canada and loved to travel.
After retirement, both were active at 36th Ulster Division and
Canadian Legion 345, enjoying close Friendships. Muriel was devoted
to Neil and Sheila, making a special place for their Friends
in her life. Ever young and convivial, Muriel will be deeply
missed by her sister Marion, niece Sharon, nephews Gary and Don,
sister-in-law Ethel, Jeanne
LISTER and many loving family members
and Friends. A Memorial Service in Toronto will be announced
for mid-December. Donations to Scarborough Grace Hospital and
the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Beloved husband of Ellen for 63 years, cherished father of Leslie.
He also leaves nieces Janice, Judy and Margaret and their children,
and relatives and Friends in Scotland, the United States and
Canada. Tom was born in Scotland and emigrated with his family
to the Pittsburgh area as a teen, moved as a young adult to Hamilton,
Ontario, and
to Scarborough in 1953. He participated with devotion
and energy as a member of the Christadelphian faith, in Toronto
at the Church Street assembly. An accountant and business manager,
he retired as controller of Parkin Architects. In the years when
his eyesight permitted, he enjoyed the sport of curling. Funeral
service will be held at Pine Hills Visitation, Chapel, and Reception
Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough (north of St. Clair),
416-267-8229, on Friday, December 2, 2005 at 2: 00 p.m. with visitation
one hour prior. Memorial donations made to the Scarborough Hospital
Emergency Room Campaign would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
