McCREARY a life long resident of the Wallaceburg
area passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the Chatham Kent
Health Alliance "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg in her 100th
year. Bertha was born in the Wallaceburg area and was a daughter
of the late Edward and Carrie
(HUCKLE)
SYKES.
She was a member
of the First Baptist Church in Wallaceburg. She was in the 1927
graduating class of R.N's from Public General Hospital. She was
a member of the Nurses Alumni of Public General Hospital. Bertha
was a Supervising Operating Registered Nurse with Public General
Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Edwin "Owen"
McCREARY (1982.)

March 17, 2005 when the funeral service was held from the chapel
of the funeral home at 2 p.m. Pastor Brian

held on Wednesday at 1: 00 p.m. Interment in Union Cemetery. Memorial

Health - Palliative Care, on Monday, December 19, 2005. James
(Jim) TODD, 65 years of Petrolia. Jim served his country for
10½ years with the Royal Canadian Navy, then worked as a process
operator at Imperial Oil, farmed in Enniskillen Township, was
a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 216, Petrolia, and
had a life-long enjoyment of music. Jim is survived by his wife,

BELL, Viola is the last of
her generation. She attended Brown School and Havergal College,
became a nurse at the Toronto Central Hospital, and after staying
home with her children, engaged in a 40-year successful career
in real estate at Johnston and Daniel. She continued to be involved
in her many activities right up until the day she died. Not only
was she involved in organizations such as Lawrence Park Community
Church and the Serenata Singers, but also, played excellent bridge,
threw dinner parties for Friends and family at her house, enjoyed
the Muskoka cottage and travelling. She always kept in touch
with Friends in good times and bad. She left this message for
us: "Let not your hearts be troubled. I have lived long and well
and have had and given lots of fun and laughter." The family
will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles
Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East),
on Tuesday between 6-8 p.m. Funeral services to be held on Wednesday
at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Park Community Church, 2180 Bayview Avenue.
