Born in Tillsonburg on June 14, 1935 daughter of the late E. Stanley and Myrtle (HAMMOND) LAW. A resident of R.R.#2 Springfield for 33 years, Sandra was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church and the Annendale Museum, Tillsonburg. She was a teacher from 1955-1972 and taught school at Northdale and Chapel School, Woodstock and in England from 1967-68. She won the Gold Cord Award for Girl Guides. Age 84 of Dresden passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Tuesday November 8, 2005. He was born in Dawn Township son of the late Robert and Mary FERGUSON) LATIMER. Hugh was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Dresden, Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge #124, Sydenham Masonic Lodge #255 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, charter member of Rebekah Lodge #322, and a member of Dresden Camden Fire Dept. for 37 years. He also coached Minor Baseball in Dresden for many years. Surviving is his loving wife Norma (LAW) LATIMER daughter Patricia LATIMER of Chatham; son Bill LATIMER of Hamilton two sisters: Helen LATIMER and Jean SIMPSON both of Dresden sisters-in-law: Norma J. LATIMER of Wallaceburg, Marilyn and David DOMAN of Windsor, Peggy LAW and Jean LAW both of Dresden brother-in-law Ron and Helen LAW of Dresden. Several nieces and nephews also survive. SACKRISON, Marion (née LAW)
In her 69th year, on October 31st, 2005, Marion passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Marion will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Brian of 48 years, her children Garth and Jason (Charlene); grandchildren Alex and Samantha; sister's Elsie, Erna (Ian), Dorothy, Barbara (Buck); brothers Glenn (Darlene), Ed (Judy). She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Katherine LAW. Marion was born in Emerson, Manitoba and then spent her childhood years in Morris, Manitoba after which she moved to Winnipeg with her sisters Erna and Elsie. Marion left Winnipeg with Brian in the mid 1960's spending time in Calgary, North Vancouver, Montreal, and then Mississauga. Shortly after her diagnosis with cancer they travelled back to the west coast settling in White Rock, British Columbia. Despite the frequent moves Marion took great pride in establishing the new family home. Decorating, entertaining and cooking were amongst her favourite pastimes. Festive occasions often found her preparing exquisite dinners attended by family and Friends. Gardening was another of Marion's passions culminating with their yard in White Rock, an often admired display of colourful and fragrant rhododendrons. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the healthcare professionals who aided Marion during her battle with cancer, notably, the staff at the Fraser Valley Cancer Centre and the team from the Peace Arch Palliative Care Centre. A memorial service will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, on Saturday, November 12 at 11: 30 a.m. with the Reverend Albert Josephson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Marion's memory.

George served on the Ontario Human Rights Commission, was named Distinguished Educator of Ontario Institute for Studies in Education / University of Toronto in 1997 and authored many university publications. Barbara (MANLEY) DOYLE in her 79th year, beloved wife of Frank DOYLE; dear mother of Christine (John) FRASER- LEE of R.R.#3, Dundalk, Susan (John) LAW of Toronto, Frank (Irene) DOYLE of Guelph, and Lori (Frank) KRUGER of Caledon and loving grandmother of Johnny, Jennifer, Frank, Christopher, Laura, Kelly and Michael. Predeceased by a sister Marilyn DURAND and a brother Thomas MANLEY.
