At North York General Hospital, passed away peacefully in the presence of her devoted husband, after a five year illness with breast cancer. She was a sweet, loving wife to Kumar LATCHMAN for over 45 years and a wonderful, loving mother to two daughters Kailash and Omeela. She also leaves her "little sis" Margie LOGAN, who visited her several times from Scotland during her final year, the last time, the week before her passing. Numerous other cousins and Friends will remember her as an extremely talented artist, but even more importantly as a truly loving and sympathetic friend who never failed to make people feel uplifted after spending time in her presence. Her family wish to express their gratitude to all of the nurses at the Freeman Centre for palliative care at North York General Hospital who cared for her with such solicitude. Particular gratitude is expressed to her excellent physicians, Dr. Mary TWEEDDALE, Dr. Mary DOHERTY and Dr. Krishna PERSAUD, who treated her with great competence and compassion during her illness. At her request, the funeral was held on Monday, November 7, 2005 before this notice was published. If desired, donations to the Freeman Centre at North York General Hospital would be appreciated.

At Grey Gables Nursing Home, Markdale on Friday, July 1, 2005 of Flesherton, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Margaret HORNING. Loving father of Scott (Kathleen KITCHING) of Burlington, Mark of Vancouver and Jennifer (Matthew LATELLA) of Toronto. He will be loved and remembered by his grandchildren Andrew and Bryan PAWSON and Joshua LATELLA. Also survived by his brothers Trevor (Lolly), Hugh PAWSON, brother-in-law Robert HORNING (Nancy), sister-in-law Wendy HORNING, and many nieces, nephews and their children. Predeceased by his parents Reverend Harry and Ethel PAWSON, brother Eric PAWSON, sister-in-law Madi PAWSON and brother-in-law Ted HORNING. Although David had many accomplishments in his lifetime he will be remembered by many for his years as head of the English Department at Grey Highlands Secondary School in Flesherton from 1968-1990. Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Fiddick's Nursing Home in Petrolia. Devoted husband of the late Friedhilde Margarete ZILLIGES (2001.) Beloved father of Hanne-Petra and Jim CHAMBERS, Bright's Grove, Rosie DEMARS, Chatham, Bernie and Lori ZILLIGES, Sarnia. Very sadly missed by grandchildren Elise CHAMBERS, Lorelei ROSS and friend Mike, Joey and Kim DEMARS, Jimmy and Tracy DEMARS, Bernadette and Carl LATFORD, Bernie and Tanya ZILLIGES, Brett ZILLIGES and friend Stephanie, Ashleah GENOVY, and Matthew GENOVY. Proud Opa of Jaime Lee, Skyelar, Christian, Cameron, Laurel, Erich, Kyle, Devyn, Bailey, Claire and Zoe. Erich was born in Germany to August and Marie (MAYER) ZILLIGES. He immigrated to Canada with his family in the early 50's, and worked as a mason in Sarnia most of his life. Erich and Friedhilde retired to the home they built at Colpoy's Bay. Their last years were spent near family in the Sarnia area. We continue to treasure the wonderful memories we all share. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. Cremation to follow. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Alan passed away at the age of 82 on November 29, 2005 at the Rekai Centre Nursing Home, his residence for the last four years. Alan was a graduate of the University of Western, Ontario and served during the Second World War. He was predeceased by his parents Colin and Edna GOVAN. He is survived by: his brother Eric (Marian) of Toronto; sisters Barbara MILLER (Robert J.) of Stratford, Jean LATHWELL of Vancouver, Ina GOVAN of Toronto, Joan WEBSTER (Stewart) of Kingston and many nieces and nephews. Man's body found in Simcoe area home

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the death of a 38-year-old man, whose body was discovered Wednesday in Vittoria, southwest of Simcoe.
The▲▼ body of John James LATIMER was found in a home on Water Street, Ontario Provincial Police reported this weekend.
An autopsy was conducted at Hamilton General Hospital, but the cause of death will not be determined until tests at the Centre of Forensic Sciences are completed, police said.

Hugh was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Dresden, Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge #124, Sydenham Masonic Lodge #255 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, charter member of Rebekah Lodge #322, and a member of Dresden Camden Fire Dept. for 37 years. He also coached Minor Baseball in Dresden for many years. Surviving is his loving wife Norma (LAW) LATIMER daughter Patricia LATIMER of Chatham; son Bill LATIMER of Hamilton two sisters: Helen LATIMER and Jean SIMPSON both of Dresden sisters-in-law: Norma J. LATIMER of Wallaceburg, Marilyn and David DOMAN of Windsor, Peggy LAW and Jean LAW both of Dresden brother-in-law Ron and Helen LAW of Dresden. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by brothers Jack, Fred and Grant, one sister Marjorie BUTTERMAN. Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. Dearly beloved husband and very best friend of Leyone, (née NEWELL,) loving father of Joseph (Cindy) of Picton, and Leon▼ (Linda,▼) of Cambridge. Grandfather of Carole SIMARD, Ann▼ VICTOR, Darin▼ and Charles VICTOR, and Vicky HARRISON. Great grandfather of Dylan VICTOR, Jana▼ and David SIMARD. Also survived by his sister, Victoria BUDCHUK and his brother, Gerald VICTOR, both of Hamilton, Ontario. Will be greatly missed by stepchildren, Terrie (David) LATIMER, and Scott DUNCAN. Adored▼ Poppa▼ of Greg and Kelly LATIMER, and Leyanne DUNCAN. Predeceased▼ by his wife, Dolores (KRANTZ.) Joe▼ was born in Toronto to Charles and Josefa VICTOR, and moved to Oshawa at a young age. He attended Ritson Road Public School and O.C.V.I. (now O'Neill). For the next 20 years, he became involved in the retail trade as proprietor of Victor's Sports and Cycle. In 1935 he formed the Victor Cycling Club and in the following years this organization brought many honours to the City and became known as one of the leaders in the development of racing cyclists. During World War 2, he was a member of the Armed Forces, holding the rank of a non-commissioned officer as a tank instructor with the Canadian Armoured Corps. In 1955 Joe returned to School at University of Toronto (University College) obtaining his B.A. in 1958 and then on to Osgoode Hall to obtain his Bachelor of Laws in 1961. He articled with Creighton, Fraser, Drynan and Murdoch and was called to the Bar in 1963. He became a partner in that firm in 1965 and was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 1975. The firm is now known as Creighton Victor Alexander Hayward Morison and Hall LLP. Throughout his life, Joe was involved in community affairs. He was a City Alderman (1951-1955), a member of the Executive of the Kinsmen Club of Oshawa, President and Life Member of Oshawa Minor Hockey Association, President and Life Member of Oshawa Minor Softball Association, Honourary VicePresident of the Gen. W. Sikorski Polish Veterans Association, VicePresident and Life Member of the Canadian Wheelmen's Association (now Canadian Cycling Association), and a member of Regional, Provincial and Federal Bar Associations. In keeping with Joe's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no funeral. Arrangements entr usted to Armstrong Funeral Home Limited. Cherished sister to Corinna BURT (Reg) of Windsor, Ontario. Predeceased by her siblings Perry CASSAN (Eva,) Cecil CASSAN (Cecile,) Harris CASSAN (Ann), Jessie BURLEY (Alfred), and Essa GILBERT (Jim). Loving aunt to Grant CASSAN (Carol), Sheila McCALLUM, Arlene BOURNE, Mary STEWARDSON, Lynne WARD (Robin), Jan LATINOVICH (Steve), Nancy CECCHETTO (Serge), Tom CASSAN (Doris), Jim CASSAN (Susan), and Vicki SMITH (Tom.) Audrey enjoyed her numerous great-nieces and nephews and was a guardian angel to great-great-nephews as well. Audrey was always active in their church, Victoria Village United in Toronto, and she and her husband enjoyed many summers at their cottage retreat. Peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Freeport Health Center, after a brief illness from cancer with his family by his side. Robert James FORWELL, aged 71 years. Loving husband to Margaret (nee SCHWAGER;) dear father to Mark and David and dear step-father to John and Kai TUKUMS and sadly missed by his dear little companion, Misty. Predeceased by his parents, Alfred FORWELL and Eileen LATNER.
Bob spent 50 successful, rewarding years in a business he knew so well, Forwell Sand and Gravel and Forwell Materials Inc. He sold his interest in the Construction Materials business in 1996. Bob continued to be involved in land development as a result of the Aggregate Business. Bob had a genuine gift with people. Everyone enjoyed working with or working for him during his lifetime. He will be remembered for his wonderful humour, integrity and loyalty to people, the many Friendships and challenges with the industry associations from sand and gravel and many others and finally onto the Packaged Concrete Business. Bob was a member and past president of the Kitchener Westmount Rotary Club with a perfect attendance Record of 28 years.
