Passed away in her 95th year on February 9, 2005. Wilma was born
in Toronto, attended Huron Street School and Harbord Collegiate.
She worked at Confederation Life until 1938 when her beau persuaded
her to marry and move to Smokey Falls, a remote townsite in Northern
Ontario. They moved to Kapuskasing in 1949 where Wilma became
an active volunteer in the community and combined this with homemaking,
hobbies and as part of a family project, helping to build the
family cottage. She was a 50-year member of the Jewel Chapter
No. 180 of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as an officer
in the Provincial Grand Chapter during the 1970's. Wilma is predeceased
by her husband Rip and her sister Kathleen

of Jindrich (Henry), Tomas, Nicolas and Meagan. Will be remembered
by his relatives and Friends. Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia
and after surviving World War 2 and then communism, he immigrated
to Canada in 1966 with nothing but his wife, son, a suitcase
and a hope for a brighter future. Despite a plethora of medical
problems, his indomitable spirit for life never abated. He will
be remembered by his family and Friends as a highly intelligent,
kind, generous, respectful man with a great sense of humour.
He led by example and was an inspiration to his children and
grandchildren who loved him very much. A Funeral Mass will be
held at Ascension of Our Lord Church (corner Sherbrooke Street
West and Clarke), Westmount, on Wednesday, January 26th at 2: 00
p.m. Family will receive condolences at the church one hour prior

Father, grandfather, friend, husband, businessman, skier, sailor,
pilot, philanthropist. It is with great sadness that we announce
the passing of our father after years of enduring lewy body dementia
and parkinsons disesase. He accomplished many things in his life
by always doing his best to live by the qualities he most admired-honesty,
integrity, generosity and determination. His continual community
service was a source of great joy and satisfaction to him and
his spirit of volunteerism stands as an example to others. His
sense of humour, inquisitive nature and keen intellect were much
enjoyed by those who knew him. During his lifetime his passion
for skiing, sailing and flying led him on many adventures around
the world. He was an enthusiastic and dedicated father who will
be remembered with much love and greatly missed. He is survived

2005, in his 81st year. He will be sadly missed by his loving
wife, Susan of 51 years, his daughters Eva and her husband John

and by his beloved grand_son Michael. George was excited about
the arrival of his future granddaughter. George was born in Budapest,
Hungary and came to Montreal in 1949 where he earned his B.Sc.
from McGill University. After 23 years, George and his family
moved to Brantford where he joined Amoco Fabrics and Fibers.
George was an avid sailor (Port Dover Yacht Club), he enjoyed
photography and loved music and computers. At George's request,
cremation has taken place. Amemorial visitation will be held
at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford
on Friday 2: 00-3:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the
Chapel on Friday at 3: 00 p.m. If wished, memorial donations to

Peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2005, in his 86th year,
at LeisureWorld Ellesmere. Ed, beloved husband of Mildred (nee
HABERER) for 58 years. Proud father of Douglas and Marg, Elizabeth
and Guy, Catherine and Vince, Carol, Susan and Rick, and predeceased
by his son Donald. Grandpa of Alex, Adrienne, Adam, Valerie,
Laura and Tom, Sharon, Peter, Colin, Dana, Troy and step-grandpa
of John, Tara, Michael, and Christina. Great-grandfather of 6.
Resting at the Paul O'Conner Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Avenue
East (between Warden and Pharmacy) from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service on Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. in Advent Lutheran
Church (Don Mills, north of Sheppard). In lieu of flowers, donations
